Nice half day trip. Our guide...

Nice half day trip. Our guide Alfredo and driver were punctual. They picked us up at the hotel and drove around to see some sights. We started the walking tour from the city center and ended up in Chinatown. Alfredo was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The driver was absolutely skillful maneuvering around those crowded streets filled with not only cars but people selling things in between the lanes of traffic.

Our guide and driver picked us up at the hotel precisely at the time arranged. He then took us on a walking tour of Lima old city. all the usual sites were visited, ending up at 11.45 in the main square. The reason for this time was that it was requested by ourselves because we were aware of a 'Changing of the Palace Guards ' ceremony occuring at noon. He was happy to accommodate this into the itinery that he had arranged, then we continued to visit more areas of the city, ending in Chinatown. Throughout the day he talked of the history, the architecture and the people who lived in and around Lima, he answered our questions and was a very amiable guide who was just happy to please. The driver was punctual and picked us up at the end at the prearranged spot and time and delivered us back to the hotel. A brilliant day with two great ambassadors for their city. Thank you once again.
