This was a great well rounded tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable! It definitely helped having a guide through the hanging bridges to spot animals, birds, and insects. It’s a very tiring day but worth it. We luckily had perfect weather for hiking and viewing Arenal volcano.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, with excellent English skills and the driver made getting to and between stops very convenient. He also spotted a sloth in a tree on the roadside and immediately pulled over so we could see. The guide used her scope to let us see better and get good photos.

Although there are a fair number of people at Mistico, our guide, Samantha, made it feel more personal. We also went to the La Fortuna waterfall and up Arenal. Samantha was very informed and showed us the beauty and diversity of the area (which was mind-boggling). We also had a delicious lunch!

Did the top three things on our list in one outing. Samantha was an outstanding guide - she was very knowledgeable and patient. Hanging bridges park is locally owned so a great place to support. Volcano hike and waterfall were well worth the climbs!

This was an amazing tour with our guide Marco. We saw monkeys, snakes, etc on the hanging bridges part. The view of the volcano on the hike can’t be beat and the waterfall was spectacular. Lunch was provided; the fresh fruit after the bridges was delicious. Marco was super knowledgeable and truly wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed the experience.

We enjoyed each part of this tour and had a fantastic guide (Samantha). They served a great lunch along the way. A couple of things that impacted my review: -The description in the booking isn’t accurate. We only spent 1 hour at the volcano and 1 hour at the waterfall. We spent way more time at the hanging bridges. The volcano hike is described as “mostly flat” which isn’t true. I was glad for the extra activity but we had people in our group that struggled with the strenuous activity and that impacted the tour for everyone. Beautiful scenery, great guide, cool history, and learned so much about Costa Rica. As with any tour, the people you are with makes all the difference.
