The tour is good but on the total tour with transportation took extra 2 hours because they decided to book to tours for one family back to back without any consideration for other passengers several individuals lost their next arrangements
Many complained but the damage was done

We loved this river safari tour! The guides were professional and friendly, and the experience was organized and easy from pickup to drop off at our hotel. The boat is a smooth ride and easy (the guides do most of the paddling) but your feet will get wet. We saw sooo many animals, including howler monkeys (a group jumped across the river right over our boat), crocodiles, iguanas, bats, and many species of birds. Our guide was great keeping our kids (ages 6 and 8) entertained. The boat ride itself is about 2.5 hours and they had a snack (tortillas/cheese/plantains) and chocolate tasting at the end. A really great family activity in Fortuna!

The trip was relaxing on the rivers with floats. We spotted toucan, several groups of monkeys, crocodiles, turtlles and various birds species along the way. The trip ended with a nice meal of fresh home made tacos and demonstration of chocolate making with sampling of hot chocolate.

Floating down the river was awesome! Saw Crocodiles, tons of monkeys, bats, birds and beautiful scenery. Tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly.

Joe and Alex, driver Racevar did great too!! We saw numerous howler monkeys! A lot of different birds! One crocodile just before the end!! We felt safe the whole time! The snack of authentic food was very nice! The taste of “moonshine “ was fun!!! The chocolate/ coco was interesting also!!

By far one of the coolest things to do… the river ride is calm and relaxing with lots of animals to see along the way… The guides are experts and will educate on the the animals and their environment along the way.

The guides were very friendly and professional! They did a great job spotting wildlife and stopping so we could see all the animals. They went above and beyond our expectations! They even arranged our transportation to make sure we got back to the hotel when we had unexpected traffic delays.

We arrived at 7.40am for 7.50am meet following the link sent to us by email. It was where the boats launched but at 9am we were still waiting to go . We were told that we should have met somewhere else that it was an office mistake. The guide was knowledgeable and personable , we ended up on a boat with a family with 4 children all aged under 11 . Probably not the best $160 we have spent on this trip. Sent an email to their office still waiting for a reply?

We are a family of four and had George as our river guide. It was an amazing time and a memorable experience. George was very nice and knowledgeable and the company as a whole really went out of their way to pack in as much as they could. The guide on the ride over was great and the homemade tortillas and plantains were delicious along with the chocolate education at the end. They even pulled the bus over on the side of the road to allow us to get a view of a sloth. The whole experience made five hours fly by.

This experience was exactly what we needed with 2 teens, 2 twenty year olds and two adults. The pick up service was very punctual, pre-floating instructions were very clear and the guides were cheerful. It was a mellow raft trip- lots of opportunity to listen to the jungle, see a ton of wildlife, unique birds and just look around. It was a great way to be in a totally natural environment. I’d feel comfortable bringing elderly people and young children-it was very relaxed. The highlight was the huge variety of animals. Bats, crocodiles , tucans, tons of colorful birds, otter, monkeys, iguanas, Mexican porcupine. Highly recommend- and the price was very affordable, lots of bang for your buck.

We had an amazing private raft ride with “Fi” and driver Fabyan. Not only did Fi find so many animals and birds, but also shared so much knowledge and information about them as well as the plants. He also made stops when able so that we could get photos. A beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy the Costa Rican environment!

Our guide lidier took so much time and energy to point out things on our way to the river. He was a wonderful guide on the river. At first I was fearful of going being 65 but he was solicitous of my concerns. At end we met and enjoyed local snacks and learned about coffee. We saw so many times of birds a lot of howler monkeys iguanas and a crocodile.

It was a good trip. We saw a smallish croc, birds, howler monkeys (one trying to aim its poop on us from a tree :-) ), iguanas. The weather was not perfect but it was still enjoyable. Make sure you have water shoes as your feet will be submerged in water. Cocoa bean tasting was good too. You need to paddle a bit but infrequently. You also see some agriculture on the way to and from the river.

Highly recommend this activity. The guide was very helpful and spotted a lot of wild life that was very hard for us to see. The tour included coffee and snack, chocolate tour at the end. Very relaxed and enjoyable experience.

This was one of my favorite experiences in Costa Rica! Our guide, Lidier, was wonderful and so knowledgeable. He helped point out wildlife that we would've have otherwise noticed. We saw so many animals including monkeys, a variety of native birds, bats, crocodiles, an otter, and a lyra! 10/10 recommend if you love nature and animals.

Was a super professional tour. These tour guides really understood what it is about! Really spot the animals that where so difficult so see and so much knowledge about the nature and animals. Was the nicest tour we did in la Fortuna, where lot’s of things felt like a tourist trap. But not this one!! Thanks!!

We had a nice morning. The river “ride” gave us a different perspective of the rainforest, saw some wildlife. The farm at the end with some bites and the chocolaty presentation was unexpected and great.
