This was a beautiful location and amazing views of the volcano. There are multiple trails to choose from for this location. We weren’t able to get as close to the volcano as we were expecting but it was still worth it and a different experience to hike up volcanic rocks.

Great experience for family with toddlers

We had an amazing time in the hike with doing Red and Yellow on the way down. We hiked with our kids (16, 14, 4, 2) and they really enjoyed the hike and views along the way. The cafe at the end was great and had really good food. We got great service from Nicholaus!

Absolutely gorgeous!

This made our entire trip, it was absolutely incredible! We did not have a guide but didn’t need one. We took the longest route and were so glad we did! We saw frogs, spider monkeys, coati, toucans, and the most beautiful scenic views of the jungle and volcano I could have hoped for. My favorite part of our visit!

Waste of my time. Paid for a workout and pain next day.

Took the red trail and did not see any animals. Was a difficult hike up and down continuously lots of rocky trail and sliding dirt. Only thing great was the views of Arenal Volcano Lagos lake was covered in moss. At the end restaurant stop they do not sell water. Just sodas and nothing hydrating.

Great experience.

The hike was more challenging than we expected. You must be sure footed to navigate the lava rocks. We saw howler monkeys around the lake as well.

Superbe expérience. Belle...

Superbe expérience. Belle randonnée à faire. Très chanceux d’avoir eu le volcan totalement dégagé de nuage
