Overview
No roads lead to the parts of the river you will travel on this expedition. Raft the white water on the Athabasca River through places you can only reach by boat. This guided tour takes you through two exciting sets of rapids (wear your bathing suit!) linked by a serene stretch through the canyon. Take in the Rocky Mountain scenery only paddlers and wildlife get to witness.

Next to the Jasper Home Building Center (706 Sleepy Hollow Road), and across the railway tracks from the set of traffic lights at Connaught Drive and Hazel Avenue. Look for our blue or yellow school buses with yellow rafts on the trailer. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time.

- Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. If you have chosen a pick up location other than the RV Parking Lot, please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.

One of the highlights of our trip - we've never done any rafting before, so this was perfect for beginners. It felt like a very easy but fun roller coaster on water with stretches of meditative floating. I went with my parents, who are in their 60s and 70s, and this was doable for them. The water is cold, and at a certain point, they let you go into the water if you want (while holding on). I would recommend a bathing suit as they suggest on their listing - changing while damp and also trying not to expose yourself isn't easy, so I think a one-piece bathing suit would feel less exposing. Molly was a super chill guide with a sense of humour. I want to do Class 3 rapids now! Recommend doing this experience

Perfect combination of rapids and paddling to make it a fun but safe ride. Wetsuits were great and kept us all warm. So glad we did the trip!

From start to finish trip was brilliant the guides gave us a full run down from the start everything went perfect . Ali was the guide on our boat and was absolutely brilliant telling us different facts about Jasper and wildlife and the rafting was great. And Johnny was very good with the photos and a brilliant bus pilot :)

Both in our sixties this was our first time whitewater rafting and it was fantastic. A memorable experience. Alberta Conner was our raft skipper and he was great . We were on the water for about 1.5 hours and it was brilliant. We were at the front of our raft and had a few soakings but that just added to the experience.

A really fun trip which was very well organised. Wet suits etc were all provided but be aware you need to get changed in a bus. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely do it again in hopefully better weather next time. Thanks to Seb for being a great guide.

The whole trip was brilliant, Jacob our tour guide was great, it was our first time rafting and felt safe the whole time. Jacob knew a lot about the river and the wild life with plenty of first hand stories of things that happened to him and the rest of the team. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

The scenery& great fun with Nilan, Ellie, Jonah& David. Informative tour which felt safe at all times.Loved the photos David took& all wetsuits etc was provided. Changing of clothing on the bus could be embarrassing for some people.

We had the most fun going down the Athabasca River with Jonah, as our very fun and knowledgeable guide. We were afraid it was going to be too cold for us, but after they suited us up, the cold water didn't affect us at all from having the best time you could have on this magical river ride! Thank you, this was our favorite thing we did in Canada!

What a wonderful time on the rapids! Challenging enough to get rapid thrills, yet also some chill spots to relax and enjoy wonderful views of the rockies. We were in very safe and capable hands with Seba and Amir, kudos to them!

Lachie was an excellent guide. He's only been in Canada a month but so engaging and knowledgeable. The course was class 2, great for a beginner but next time I'd opt for a class 3. Got to have a swim between rapids too. The scenery is stunning.
