Overview
Get a little wet and have a lot of fun on the Athabasca River. Travel with your small group to the put in point and raft the Mile 5 section of the glacier-fed river. This section of river is a great introduction to river rafting as it begins with an approximately 10-minute float before the class II rapids start. Experience the gentle thrill of some bumps and splashes on your excursion.

Next to the Jasper Home Building Center (706 Sleepy Hollow Road), and across the railway tracks from the set of traffic lights at Connaught Drive and Hazel Avenue. Look for our blue or yellow school buses with yellow rafts on the trailer. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately, we go rain or shine
- Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. If you have chosen a pick up location other than the RV Parking Lot, please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.

Jonah was amazing. He kept us entertained and shared insightful history while on the river. We felt like we had our own VIP experience and thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. It was a great experience with MJ, Molly and Andrea….all 3 made the experience.
The rafting was a great experience and way to see parts of Jasper.
We are also slightly biased as MJ is from Australia as we all are too…..loved the commentary from her and fun discussions.

A great introduction to white water rafting. Rapids are not too scary and is appropriate for anyone to come and have a go. The team was wonderful, full of energy and cheer. We enjoyed the trip and got to see some elk along the way.

Well organized. Guides are fun, but maintain importance to safety. Ollie made it a great experience. Spent about 45 minutes to an hour in the water itself. Went with children. Very safe.

We had such a wonderful time with our guide David. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions along the way. We felt safe and had so much fun. The only thing is that we found it was short, only 45 minutes on the water. We would have stayed longer as it flu by.

Had a wonderful rafting experience with Fran as your guide. Fran was such fun but made us feel safe, very chatty and friendly. Was more exhilarating than I expected but never felt unsafe. Would definitely recommend.

We had no idea what to expect when we booked our girls rafting adventure. We recommend bathing suit under the wet suit, hat, and sunscreen. If you’ve never paddled with other people, either keep pace with the guy in front of you, or don’t paddle. You do get a bit wet, but it was so warm out that the splashes were welcome! Pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. Great guides who are friendly and funny! Don’t recommend dipping into the water over the edge of the raft unless you are capable of getting back in easily. Getting back in can be difficult, esp if you’re heavy. Rapids were mild so it’s a great introduction for beginners. Def will do this again!

We tried to cancelled and it wouldn’t work, we even contacted the company for a complete refund as we didn’t do our tour, I do not recommend booking online, apparently there is nothing they can do, when it was their fault. Highly disappointed with this company

Kate, Anneja, and Seb were all absolutely fantastic. This was my first time white water rafting and having Seb as the guide couldn’t have made for a better experience. So much fun! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to experience the Rockies in a new and different way. The views are amazing, and to get to go on the water that was a glacier less than a day ago was so cool.

So much fun! Nate was a great captain. Found ever possible rapid! Even pulled my husband out of the water. He chose to swim in 38(F). And Seve our bus driver/photographer/security officer was awesome!!!

We highly recommend this tour on the Athabasca River. It was fun and well guided by Luke, Charles, Seva, and all the other great guys!!. They did a great job keeping us informed and keeping my eight-year-old entertained and not nervous at all!!
My only recommendation is to be ready to get changed inside a bus to get into your wetsuits.

We had so much fun white water rafting on the Athabasca River! The team were all really friendly and enthusiastic, and our guide did a great job at explaining everything and providing us with kit - it was all very efficient. Our team leader was Dylan, he was lovely and broke the ice with us and the other family on our boat. We really had an amazing time!
