Itinerary
Your tour begins with pickup from your Jasper hotel at a prearranged time in the evening. After boarding a minibus, set off into nature, and admire views of the region's UNESCO-listed mountain passes and untouched wilderness.
Your guide provides commentary that details the flora and fauna of Jasper National Park and takes you to seasonal spots inhabited by native wildlife.
With luck, you can observe grizzly bears, mountain goats, elk, moose, squirrels, and eagles in their natural environment. You'll also have the chance to make photo stops to better soak up the wealth of scenery.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

- To request complimentary pick-up from your accommodation, please specify which hotel you are staying at. Pickup times vary therefore your exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon booking.
- If you are staying outside of Jasper, please specify Jasper Downtown Location - at Two Brothers Totem Pole across from Parks Canada Information Center on Connaught Drive. Your meeting time will be 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure time. All-day parking is located in the parking lot.
- Viewing will be primarily from inside the minibus however, at the discretion of your guide there may be times where you have the option to step outside at viewpoints. A small amount of walking may be involved.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- This tour is not recommended for young children: The Wildlife Tour is typically geared more towards adults, providing educational commentary along the way. While wildlife sightings are frequent, the experience differs significantly from a zoo visit. Due to the unpredictable nature of wild animals, sightings occur intermittently during the 3-hour tour and vary from day to day. Based on our observations, young children often become restless as there are no scheduled stops on this vehicle-based tour. Therefore, we recommend a minimum age of 5 years. Although not recommended, children and infants under 5 years old are welcome, provided a seat is purchased for them at the child rate (all passengers regardless of age are required to be allocated a seat on the bus). For those bringing infants, we recommend bringing a baby carrier which can be secured with the provided seat belts on our buses.
- Jasper National Park is a wild and natural habitat. Wildlife Sightings are frequent but not guaranteed.

This experience was awesome. Our tour guide Sam was sooo intelligent with wildlife information and very passionate in helping us have great experiences. We saw grizzly bears, a moose, eagles and more. It was raining for ours but he did an excellent job at making sure we got good views! This tour is a MUST!

Excellent organisation. Owain was a very informative guide. We were very lucky to see osprey, bald eagle, bull elk, black bear and grizzly bear. So lucky.

It’s fantastic. I would not schedule something immediately afterwards cause there’s not a good guarantee you could get back at it exact time viewing wild animals. It’s on their terms.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide, Sam, was the best. So knowledgable and so wanted us to see some wild life--which we did, a mountain goat, 2 bears up a tree, a moose (very close) and several elk (big). He spent extra time at the end to enable us to get pics of elk and offered to drop people off at restaurants or wherever. Can't say enough good things about Sam and this wildlife tour.

Had such a lovely evening, and im so sorry I dont remember the tour guides name (older gentleman, use to be a photographer - sir you are an absolute legend and I would love to go on another tour with you). He knew so much and was the perfect amount of chatty, I loved the stories, especially about Pete the bear! Also really appreciated being able to borrow your binoculars!

Kelli was a terrific guide. We got to see elk, eagle, sheep, and even a grizzly mama with two cubs. It was very easy to do and I really enjoyed our experience.

It was fine. Our guide/driver was very engaging and really wanted us to see wildlife-especially a bear. We saw 2 adolescent grizzly bears from great distance, and a black bear up close. It’s a tourist activity, and you are confined to the vehicle.

Jake was full of takes and energy.. he did not promise but he did deliver. Grizzly’s, elk, koyotes .. we were in awe!

Top experiences in Canada! We spotted plenty of fauna and flora: a grizzly mother with 2 cubs, black bear, loons and elks.
Our tour guide Catherine was fantastic.
Catherine was an excellent tour quide in many ways:
she is an outdoor enthusiast, has a wide and deep knowledge of the nature in Jasper and knows how to tell a story in a clear way.

The experience was exactly what I expected.. Our tour guide Jake was great!! He took us to all the areas he has seen wild life and actually offered to extend the tour to look for moose!! Unfortunately, we did not spot that elusive creature, but we did see an amazing bull elk, munching on greens and oblivious to our bus observing him in his natural habitat!! We also saw an osprey bringing food to her youngster, an eagle nest, deer, a beaver damn and mountain sheep. Jake had tons of information regarding the animals, their habitat, and food choices ! He shared lots of information, flora, fauna and interesting facts about the surrounding mountains!

Great way to see wildlife in the vicinity of Jasper. Highlights included a black bear, several elk, mountain sheep and marmots. Bella the guide was excellent. She was very well informed and enthusiastic.

We just finished an incredible tour with Ross, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Ross’s knowledge of the local wildlife is truly next-level. He didn’t just point out animals; he shared fascinating insights into their behaviors and the ecosystem that you’d never find in a guidebook. His passion for nature is infectious, and he made the entire trip unforgettable!
Note for the company: The only downside to the trip was the incredibly annoying AC unit on the back of the bus, which definitely needs to be looked at and fixed. But as far as the guiding goes, Ross was absolutely stellar!

Bella was absolutely amazing!!! Super dedicated to giving us the best experience that she even went over time to allow us to photograph animals that were coming out on the way back down the mountain. Great night and saw lots of different animals. Would recommend to everyone!

It’s was exactly as advertised. We saw lots of wildlife.
The tour guide was knowledgeable of the area and had a background in the environmental studies. We had the hat trick Bears, Moose, Elk plus.

Tour was really awesome. Our guide SAM was really a knowledgeable, jovial person. He drove the car smoothly, explained the history, wild animals details, shown buffalo berries, Montain goat, Elk, Moose, beaver, otter, bald eagle, many more.
We would suggest time of tour should be till 9:30pm as we have seen most of the wild animals between 8:30pm to 9:30pm

We were very fortunate to see bear, trophy size elk and moose during our evening tour. Bailey was persistent and patient in trying to locate wildlife.
Only complaint was the rough ride. The van was very uncomfortable especially when riding in the back.
