Itinerary
Your tour begins with pickup from your Jasper hotel at a prearranged time in the evening. After boarding a minibus, set off into nature, and admire views of the region's UNESCO-listed mountain passes and untouched wilderness.
Your guide provides commentary that details the flora and fauna of Jasper National Park and takes you to seasonal spots inhabited by native wildlife.
With luck, you can observe grizzly bears, mountain goats, elk, moose, squirrels, and eagles in their natural environment. You'll also have the chance to make photo stops to better soak up the wealth of scenery.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

- To request complimentary pick-up from your accommodation, please specify which hotel you are staying at. Pickup times vary therefore your exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon booking.
- If you are staying outside of Jasper, please specify Jasper Downtown Location - at Two Brothers Totem Pole across from Parks Canada Information Center on Connaught Drive. Your meeting time will be 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure time. All-day parking is located in the parking lot.
- Viewing will be primarily from inside the minibus however, at the discretion of your guide there may be times where you have the option to step outside at viewpoints. A small amount of walking may be involved.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- This tour is not recommended for young children: The Wildlife Tour is typically geared more towards adults, providing educational commentary along the way. While wildlife sightings are frequent, the experience differs significantly from a zoo visit. Due to the unpredictable nature of wild animals, sightings occur intermittently during the 3-hour tour and vary from day to day. Based on our observations, young children often become restless as there are no scheduled stops on this vehicle-based tour. Therefore, we recommend a minimum age of 5 years. Although not recommended, children and infants under 5 years old are welcome, provided a seat is purchased for them at the child rate (all passengers regardless of age are required to be allocated a seat on the bus). For those bringing infants, we recommend bringing a baby carrier which can be secured with the provided seat belts on our buses.
- Jasper National Park is a wild and natural habitat. Wildlife Sightings are frequent but not guaranteed.

This experience was awesome. Our tour guide Sam was sooo intelligent with wildlife information and very passionate in helping us have great experiences. We saw grizzly bears, a moose, eagles and more. It was raining for ours but he did an excellent job at making sure we got good views! This tour is a MUST!

Great tour , tour guide really informative and was great with the group . We did see some wildlife but also learnt a lot about the area and wildlife . Tour was really awesome. Our guide SAM was really a knowledgeable, jovial person. He drove the car smoothly, explained the history, wild animals details, shown buffalo berries, Montain goat, Elk, Moose, beaver, otter, bald eagle, many more.
We would suggest time of tour should be till 9:30pm as we have seen most of the wild animals between 8:30pm to 9:30pm

Our driver Logan was very informative throughout the experience we saw a beaver a black bear and two cubs lots of elk as well

It was great experience with Owen as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. We were really lucky to see mama bear, baby bear, elk, mountain goat, osprey catching fish and awesome scenery in Jasper. Thanks to Malign adventures.

We were very fortunate to see bear, trophy size elk and moose during our evening tour. Bailey was persistent and patient in trying to locate wildlife.
Only complaint was the rough ride. The van was very uncomfortable especially when riding in the back.

Highlights were seeing the grizzly bears, a male elk and beavers. Sam did a great job doing lots of driving so we could have the best experience with seeing wildlife. Thanks for going over time Sam!

Cute tour. Tourbus takes you around the park and you try to spot animals. The guide was very knowledgeable. We saw lots of elk.. and a few other furry friends. No bear though, except the but of one walking away. Slightly disappointed by that but it’s not his fault. All depends on luck and timing.

We had a great time. It was a fun experience for a couple of city folks. Logan found us a black bear, loads of elk, a long session with a content beaver, mule deer and a pair of loons. And the education was appreciated too.

Where do I start!!! Our guide Ross was just superb his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for wildlife was second to none. He went above and beyond on this tour and we had an amazing experience that we will never forget.
We saw a black bear who was a little shy to start, elk (lots of) with their calves, a coyote, bald eagle, Osprey and the real highlight at the end was two Grizzly bears who we must have spent 15-20 mins with and close proximity.... Amazing!!!
All the information was really good to know and the details of bear 222 and the serial killer was interesting too

Good, friendly knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us all about the local wildlife lin the area. He drove us to all the wildlife hotspots around the national park.
Unfortunately the weather was not conducive for wildlife viewing due to the rain so we struggled to find much wildlife out bracing the elements. We did see a group of 4 adult elks with 2 calves seeking shelter from the rain in a clearing close to the road. As the rain slowed and eventually eased we were able to find another group of elks coming out of the woods to graze.
Overall a good experience thanks to our knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us so much about the area, the wildlife and the ecosystem of the national park.
*Note*
For anyone wanting a walking/hiking tour this is not it, you will be in an AC mini bus with a guide on a small group tour around the national park. This was found out by one of the other couples on the tour who expressed that they wanted a guided hike and had been booked on the wrong tour. They seemed fine by the end of the tour however they did say it was not clearly advertised.

Logan was a superb guide - he was very knowledgeable about wildlife and did a great job of finding the spots where there was wildlife activity. We saw Elk (and their calves), mountain sheep, mule and white tailed dear, bald eagle, and most excitingly bears - great job Logan

You may or may not see the animals you expect. I enjoyed seeing the elk, mule deer and herd of bighorn sheep. Although I may not have seen a bear, there were plenty of good stories and education about the wildlife as well as the park and Jasper area. It was well worth it.

Great tour and good value compared to other such experiences in the Rockies. There is a lot to see and they know how to make the best use of time to maximise wild life sightings. This is done in a wholly ethical/responsible manner together with providing great info on the wildlife and surrounding area. Big shout out ro Sam for being an amazing guide who went above and beyond to ensure we all an amazing time including extending the tour by 45 mins to give us more time watching grizzly bears.
