Nice tour for the nerds
Very informative tour about the stars, planets, and the universe. Unfortunately, because of the cloudy conditions, I didn’t see much of the skies nor the Northern Lights. Did a bit of stargazing. Staff were very friendly and kind.

Very educational but also very weather dependent if you want to see the northern lights.
The experience is a scaled down version of what you would get at Griffith Park Observatory in Hollywood California, which is actually a big compliment. Seeing the northern lights is a long shot as its largely weather dependent, which rarely ever works out the one time you attend.
Jasper Planetarium
Jasper Planetarium is a must for astronomy buffs.
The dome theater is climate controlled, but the telescope experience takes place outdoors, so dress appropriately.
If it’s too cloudy to see the stars, visitors can rebook for another date at no extra cost.
Guides track the appearance of the International Space Station and the Northern Lights and can help guests see them from the ground.
Children age 4 and over can watch the planetarium show.
