A perfect way to spend a day!
The guide, Trevor, was highly knowledgeable on all aspects of nature in the park. His kind and friendly demeanor made it all the more enjoyable. Our group was also able to tour with a trainee who is a bird expert.

Great tour
We were unlucky with the weather but felt lucky to have Trevor as our guide because he had so much experience and knowledge to share. We also didn’t see the wildlife we had hoped to see but it was still an enjoyable experience and way to see the area and learn more than we would have otherwise. Thank you!

Searching for Nature made Enjoyable
Be prepared for all types of weather in May. We had bright sunshine, rain, snow and sleet at different times during our tour. Wear walking footwear and bring whatever you may need that fits in your daypack. Our guide, Ross, was great and sharing history of the area, the local animals and geography. Time flew by. Highly recommend.

Unforgettable Jasper wildlife tour
I had a great experience on this tour! The guides were very friendly and knew a lot about the wildlife and the area. I saw several wild animals during the day it was incredible. We were very lucky to see a moose up close, which was definitely a highlight of the day. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I totally recommend this tour!

  • The lake is an intriguing stop for geology and glacier enthusiasts—information boards provide details about the lake’s natural disappearing act.
  • If you want to get on the water, bring your own craft or rent a kayak from a shop that delivers it to the lake for you.
  • The lake’s north viewpoint (paved and wheelchair accessible) is the best spot to stop for photos overlooking the lake.
  • Medicine Lake offers a quiet alternative to the more populated Maligne Lake.
