Making Turkish coffee was a wonderful experience. The process itself felt special and traditional. Special thanks to Petek who presented the Turkish coffee experience to us. Lovely very warm girl. Her natural way of connecting with people made the atmosphere very comfortable and enjoyable. The coffee was prepared slowly in a small copper pot, allowing the rich aroma to fill the air. Watching the foam rise on the top showed the care and skill that goes into making an authentic Turkish coffee.
When it was served, the presentation was beautiful, usually with a small glass of water and sometimes a piece of Turkish delight. The coffee had a strong, deep flavor and a smooth foam on top, which made it truly enjoyable.
It was not just about drinking coffee, but about the whole moment — relaxing, talking, and appreciating a traditional part of Turkish culture. It was a memorable and authentic experience.

A lovely few hours spent learning about the fascinating history of Turkish coffee, making our own coffee in the traditional way and enjoying the tradition of fortune telling from each others coffee cups. A really wonderful workshop hosted by an even more wonderful and fun lady.

In the beginning she tells you about the Ottoman history. The different coffee beans and for it to be the Turkish way. It was so beautiful to understand the history and to make coffee and I got to make my own coffee. I also bought a grinder and all the items to make coffee. Coffee was strong fresh and it was a wonderful experience.

A great experience in turkey. I wanted to find something to do on a layover and this was the perfect activity. Petek was so sweet and gave a great presentation on how to make turkish coffee. Highly recommend!!!

Great experience with Petek! She was very knowledgeable about coffee but more importantly she was very pleasant company. Given the fact I was the only person there we had great conversation and she took the time to explain Turkish (coffee) culture to me and even ask me about my own life back home. 10/10 would recommend

This coffee workshop is so fun! Petek was our guide and really had so much fun with us. We were a small group of only 2 but she kept us entertained with history and conversation. We learned how to cook coffee the turkish way. The coffee cup take away made it feel special. We took turns reading each others coffee grinds and had fun with it. Thanks!!

Petek was a delight. Prior to the start of the workshop I was lost. She was very understanding and patient.
She is very knowledgeable, about the origin of coffee in Turkey. She provided very clear instructions on how to grind, roast and make Turkish coffee. Her jovial energy added a nice touch to a morning class. I definitely recommend others to take this workshop.

This experience was the highlight of our trip to Istambul! Petek very enthusiasticly introduced us to turkish coffee history and the tradition around it, we learned how to make our own turkish coffee at the workshop. The fortune telling was a fun addition to this experience and a way to connect with everybody in the workshop.
We felt very welcomed and even got mugs as a gift so we could continue with the this wonderful tradition.

Fatma was amazing! I truly enjoyed the Turkish coffee fortune telling workshop — it was one of the highlights of my solo trip. The session was both fun and insightful.
