A great experience for both my daughter & I. So relaxing after a long flight the day before. It is a beautiful facility with high ceilings, stone and wood. My attendant was Oznu and she was awesome. My daughter had Ayfer and she was equally happy. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so clean & relaxed.

Absolutely amazing. Accommodating from even scheduling. I was walked through the whole process. This was my first trip to Turkiye, and I'd come back just for this. Do not miss this experience! I'll definitely be back.

A new-to-us Turkish friend told me that this Hamam (Turkish Bath House) is authentic and very good which was welcome news since my husband and I enjoyed the experience so much! The staff were welcoming, attentive and pleasant. The lack of English for my bath attendant wasn’t a problem.

Beautiful place and an amazing experience. This was our first time visiting a hammam and it was fantastic from the moment you stepped through the door. The place was beautiful with a very serene air. They knew us by name when we arrived and we were introduced to our people and shown where to go. You don't need to bring anything - they provide everything you need including light underwear for use during the treatment and shower shoes. Your clothes are locked in the changing room and you take the key with you, so it feels perfectly safe. We started with a sauna and then some time laying on warm stones. Then it was off for a good dousing with warm water and a body scrub. This was followed by a good wash with LOTS of soapy bubbles including a pretty firm full body massage (my wife's was more gentle). Then a cool down period followed by tea and Turkish delight where we were visited by a super friendly cat! There was an optional foot massage and/or full body massage which we did not opt for. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the place was beautiful and the whole experience was a great introduction. I will certainly do this again if I am in the area.

Amazing experience. The highlight of my time in Istanbul. Incredibly relaxing. Turkan was my spa therapist and she did a wonderful job. I didn’t want it to end. I got a full bath and massage experience and would not change a thing.

Here's a tip: If you have 24 hours in Istanbul on a long layover (or maybe you have longer) come here for a nice little scrub down and a relaxing massage. Came here immediately after a flight and they made me feel very relaxed and clean. Placard at the entrance says it's from the 1400s and one of the oldest remaining hamams in Istanbul. Very interesting history, beautiful architecture inside. Very private. Genders are separated so no need to feel awkward about nudity. Only issue, they didn't use conditioner on my hair and my hair felt dry afterwards. Not a huge deal. Felt very nice all covered in light and airy foam. I'm a grown woman but I don't know how they made so much foam. It was like the most velvet bubble bath you can imagine x10. Got the 30 minute massage, that was nice too. Another tip: Make sure you bring enough cash to tip, I totally forgot and almost didn't have enough, and they really deserve your tips here. Great experience, very relaxing.

What an experience. You get to be a Sultan for a few hours. As an American man the thought of another man giving me a scrub down and massage was unsettling. We looked at some of the couples options where we could get the experience together, but decided to go with the traditional Hamman. The headline here is that we immediately booked another session again for 4 days later, that's how awesome it was. The hot marble sauna was great. All the stress of work, domestic politics, and the madness of Istanbul slowly left my mind and body like the drops of sweat leaving my body. I really felt in the moment. The scrubbing was just right. The foam cleaning was actually the best massage I have ever had. The whole experience was rejuvenation of mind, body, and soul. Not being with my wife allowed me to selfishly concentrate on my experience. (Wife felt the same way) As mentioned we did this twice in a week and both experience were consistently awesome. We did these early on weekdays and both of us had our sections to ourselves. I highly recommend this place. Be a Sultan and pamper yourselves. Don't deny yourself this experience.

The place is smaller than anticipated. Wide angle photos make it seem larger. This is true of many travel photos. The service was superb. One small note. I am a female who was not provided with temporary underwear as anticipated. I was not aware that I could have worn my lingerie (bra and panties) to the massage. Otherwise it was fantastic!

Private option is not private, but nice experience in Istanbul

I booked the private potion but it was not private so I suggest saving your money. The bath part was in a room with one stranger, the massage was private. This was not explained properly or I wouldn’t have booked the private option as there was no difference and it was wasted money. Each area where you are scrubbed and bubbled fits 2 people, there was not a private curtain area as described. Still worth doing just good to have proper information.

The Hamman experience was great. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They may not have spoken a lot of English but they knew enough to guide us through all the steps. Very attentive. We experienced lying on the warm marble, then getting scrubbed and washed with wonderful smelling foam. Tea and Turkish delight afterwards. We left feeling great!

The entire experience was so amazing! We were greeted immediately by the reception and taken up to change out of our clothes and get to the bath and after finishing the experience, we were given tea and snacks to relax. Safiye and Nil were great and made the experience even better. Definitely a must-do before leaving Istanbul.

This was seriously fantastic! We were early but they accommodated us. The spa is stunningly beautiful. That alone was such a treat. I was taken to the women's area to get undressed. My therapist was Nur who was so friendly and gentle. She was so kind and didn't make me feel awkward or embarrassed in any way given the lack of clothing involved. I was given sandals, a towel and disposable small underwear for modesty. I laid in the warm hammam then was taken to a private room and was scrubbed, rinsed, foamed, massaged, rinsed, shampooed and rinsed. I was then wrapped up in a fresh towel and waited in the comfortable lounge area until she was ready for my massage. I didn't want it to end. It was so luxurious and relaxing. My husband had a similar great experience but in another section and with a male therapist. After getting dressed, we met in the front lounge area for a lovely snack of tea, juice, nuts, fruit and Turkish Delight. Really, really marvelous. I highly recommend it!!

hot stone was nice - when it got to the part about doing the scrub (very much like rubbing sandpaper on your body) and then soapy foam bath, the people do not know English so they can’t really tell you what to expect. So just relax and go with it. Unfortunately, for me, I was covered head to toe in foamy soap as the norm and , then she just threw the water on me without warning, and the soap went in my eyes. I have been affected for almost 2 days now. That made the rest of the experience pretty miserable. I’m not happy about dealing with a scratched or irritated eye for the rest of my vacation. I know it was an accident, but I don’t think it is the best when they can’t communicate at all with you. Plus it got annoying to “hey lady” 75 times. That was her only way to communicate. Therefore, I would not do again or recommend though I’m sure everything goes perfect for most people. Just be aware that there could be some things that aren’t ideal that could happen.
