It’s a little run down and expect over 2 hours for 30 minute massage. We were left at pool area and made our way back to lobby in our own . We had authentic experience and it was interesting.

Experience was just as described + more. A friend and I went with the 30 min massage option. I think maybe they won't quite ready for us so they let us use the pool/sauna/steam room area first. The resting area did feel a little rushed--I just started sipping my tea when I was taken to the massage; the resting area was also hot (I thought they were supposed to be cool--I was afraid I'd sweat again after my bath!). They could also fix a couple of small maintenance issues- ex toilet stall door that doesn't close. The staff was very nice. I would do this again if visiting Istanbul

My husband and I went for our first hamman here in Istanbul. We started off lying in a private room on a raised heated table, top to toe. First was exfoliation, then a milky foam, followed by being rinsed off - warm then cold! We then had a tea and water followed by a Turkish massage in a different room. We had fun! We enjoyed the experience and had very soft skin afterwards!

Perfecr first time Turkish bath! We wanted to try this so bad on our trip but we traveled with our children ages 11,9,7 and so we needed a Hamam that accepts families and this was it! They gave us a private room with the do-it-yourself option and it was perfection. They walked us through all the steps and it was super easy to follow 💜 the price was also right on point! Highly recommended.

Could be orginized better, i have been to many many many and many turkish baths in turkey, they all do there own thing, i was going to write in review about it not having a sauna or steam room or swimming pool, but apparently it does, noone told me, i only noticed it in a review, any other turkish bath i go into sauna, then steam room, then get the scrub and oil massage, then body massage, after that i would chill by the pool( if they have one) with an facemask on. this time i was in getting scrubbed, out into waiting area were i got facemask on, it was barely on and i was took for a massage, after massage i was sent packing, noone mentioned a sauna, steam room or pool, why would anyone want get a sauna or steam room after a massage anyways, it felt like they just kept forgeting me, ssying all that scrub and massage eas great, i told lady a soft massage as its like being in a turkish torture chamber getting a rough one.

Wonderful scrub down and massage. Only criticism was the process wasn’t clearly explained so we weren’t sure after the treatments where to go and what the other facilities were and if we could use them. We discovered the pool and steam room by chance. The locker room is cramped so we had to wait for two other guests to get changed there before we could access our clothes. In the meantime there was a medical emergency and a power cut! Those things couldn’t be helped of course! All in all though, it is a lovely thing to do so I would recommend!

First of all, I didn’t end up go to this place so this experience is nothing to do with their staff in the shop doing the actual hard massage/ bath work. Secondly, I had a very disappointing experience with Acemoglu Hamam's customer service (booking). I reached out to modify my booking for 1 day late, first time they change it immediately without any issue or drama, so I was thinking they is able to assist this easily given their daily traffic. However, the drama comes when the second request I made, I want to change to 1 day later again (the reason is that the hot air ballon in Cappadocia got cancel on 20th Dec, my whole trip has to be changed accordingly) and instead of assisting me respectfully or just tell me they can’t do that due to policy, the representative tied the modification to a condition that I have leave them a 5-star review on Viator even before I visited the shop to have the service. This kind of misconduct behavior felt highly unprofessional and left a bad impression. I was met with unnecessary arguments and told that they were "doing me a favor." I don’t think asking for help with a booking change should be considered a "favor," especially when I was already a paying customer. You can say no if you can’t change, you can’t use it as sth to exchange to for a 5 star rating to mislead other tourists. 5 star for what? For change my date of booking rather than the actual experience? The representative’s tone was condescending and made the entire process stressful. They even implied I was being rude when all I wanted was clear and respectful communication. To top it off, the insistence on a 5-star review in exchange was completely inappropriate. I’ve had overall not bad experiences in Turkey, but this interaction was not one of them. Disappointed that the staff were not Turkish. The scrub was very gentle, the bubble very nice, but both me and my sister were on a high marble table, and had difficulty turning over when needed, very slippy. Overall very nice.

I wanted to love this experience, but there were a few things that let it down. My partner and I booked the private bath and massage experience. We had a 1pm appointment and once booked in we were taken to our lockers to get changed, however, instead of going to have our scrub, we were sent downstairs to the hotel spa with no explanation. This was not a relaxing experience as there were kids at the pool and there is a gym on the other side overlooking the pool area, plus other people from the hotel were using the facilities at the same time. We were there for about 20 minutes and used the sauna and steam room while we waited to be taken back to the baths. No one came for us so we made the decision to head up and see what was happening; we assumed they were busy with other clients and maybe didn't have enough staff. Once we got upstairs we waited briefly in the baths waiting area before we were taken to start our experience. The lady that took us for our bath was lovely and we enjoyed the scrub and foam experience. There was slight confusion about what was included in our package though so my partner didn't get the clay mask straight away, but that was quickly cleared after she checked with reception and had to repeat the experience for my partner. Following our bath experience, we were taken to the waiting area for a cup of tea before being taken to have our massages. We were taken to a room which was on the other side of the reception area. The masseuses were professional and my partner enjoyed his massage, but with no music for ambience, I didn't feel fully relaxed. Our experience finished at about 2.30pm. The lack of organisation and ambience let this place down, so I would want to try this experience elsewhere.

El personal muy profesional Y atento. Es una pena que el paso de una sala a otra haya que hacerlo a través de recepción. Los vestuarios exageradamente pequeños. Sólo cabía una persona dentro y a compartir con otras tres. Hubiera sido de agradecer que el masaje nos lo hubiesen dado a las tres personas juntas.

Prestataire complétement débordé par les réservations... On me fait patienter, me demande si je ne peux pas revenir un autre jour en me promettant des services supplémentaires. Devant l'impossibilité de modifier la date de cette prestation, le gérant me propose d'effectuer le hammam, plus massage à 90 euros (car en privé)... dans un autre établissement dont il dit avoir également la gérance qui n'est autre que le sous-sol d'un hôtel. Le lieu ne semble pas aussi magique et surtout, même effervescence! On propose un thé, histoire d'à nouveau patienter. Au bout de 30 minutes, je suis enfin prise en charge et là, déception, au lieu de passer un moment de détente, la masseuse martyrise mon corps déjà éprouvé par des kilomètres de marche. Massage vigoureux, même après avoir demandé "soft", craquage de vertèbres... L'enveloppement d'argile est bâclé, j'en retrouve dans les yeux, la bouche... la masseuse attend dans la pièce avec impatience les 5 minutes de "détente" imposés. Le rinçage, le gommage sont effectués sans délicatesse, je crois entendre "big" concernant mon corps... charmant ! Comme j'ai insisté sur la demande de respect des horaires car ayant RV ensuite, on m'indique où se trouve le vestiaire, histoire d'être débarrassés de moi. Les promesses d'utiliser le hammam, le sauna ou la piscine de l'hôtel sont loin, très loin ... Bref; le moment de "détente" a viré au cauchemar et je ressors, hypertendue avec la peur de me retrouvée coincée une fois que mon corps sera descendu en température, ce qui ne manquera pas d'arriver dès le soir même.
