Our well-seasoned guide, Omer and driver, picked us up from our hotel in the morning, then we proceeded to walkthrough the popular sites instilling in us the rich history of the past and present. Our wonderful tour guide, Buta!

Buta was our tour guide for the day. He took 6 of us through many famous sites and ended in Grand Bazaar. He was an amazing young man who is full of knowledge of the places we visited. Not only his English was good, he was very thorough with the history, and very easy to understand him. Before our tour, we asked him many questions and he responded quickly. He sure put us at ease. He also has a lot of patience and often waited for few of us who walked bit slower. He is a very personable and made us all feel very welcomed. Songul was an outstanding tour guide! She was professional, knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and so kind throughout the entire day. Our group ranged from teenagers (ages 15, 16, and 17) to my 88-year-old mother-in-law, who needed frequent breaks, and Songul handled everyone’s needs with such care and flexibility. She adjusted the itinerary and activities to match our group’s pace and even arranged for the van to come early so that some family members who were too tired could return sooner while the rest of us continued the tour. She also recommended wonderful places for us to visit and made sure everyone had a great experience. Time well spent

From where our hotel was located, the tour was 100% a walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable about the historic sites we visited and how the culture in Turkey has been formed over the centuries as this region sits between Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We were exhausted at the end of our day but believe our time and energy were very well spent. Our guide introduced us to a “locals” restaurant. The food and price were fabulous. We highly recommend this tour but be sure to cover your knees if you are a man and women bring a scarf to cover your head and a sweater or shawl for your shoulders. We were very happy with our decision to take a private tour as opposed to trying to stay up with many of the larger “group” tour groups we saw while out and about during our tour yesterday.

Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide!

Had a great 2-day tour with our guide, Çiçek. She is a fountain of knowledge to all the sites and knows her way around the city. Highly recommend booking with the driver option so they can take you through some crazy streets to help you see the sites. Çiçek also had great stores to recommend in the Bazaar if you want to shop.
