Halong Bay 2 day and 1 night tour with transport from Hanoi

Great service, activities and food aboard the boat. However, the boat wasn't as nice as we had hoped for and it was difficult to transparently see which boat you were booking on Viator. The bus ride to and from was about 3.5 hours due to the multiple stops where they try to sell you art, pearls and silk.

I wasn't happy with Viator advert. I paid a premium fee at the basis of the look of the boat and description. It was an old boat with no swimming pool no spa... As the bay is really cold you can hardly swim in the sea early Jan. As a result it wasn't worth of the money spent. Bus was very old no wifi either. Not even a water in the boat you have to pay is a bot too much forget about the soft drinks. We were told welcome drink ended up with cold local tea. There was cocunut wine for free even at taster session you get more. Overall make sure you don't get fooled ...

Don't book with Pandora because you book for a five star experience and they move you to a lesser star boat and then they lie and say the boat is in for repair when you go on your trip on another boat I see Pandora sailing with a load passengers on

We booked with Pandora but without any consultation, we were changed to a different operator - Dragonboat. So we can't review Pandora. The cruise is good if you are into the big group, lots of activity, cruise ship experience. The positives were the lovely room with large picture windows, the beautiful Halong Bay, and a short, quiet canoe experience. We didn't appreciate the repeated pressure to buy overpriced drinks - even water - the very strong pressure at the end to tip all staff, and the food, which was quite tasteless and sloppy. You also need to know that "two days" means you get on the boat after 12pm and get dropped back to shore around 11am the next day.

You were an hour late picking us up then the bus broke down. We got to the boat was told it was a 5 star in my opinion it was only a 3 star experience. So very disappointed

First of all, the staff on the cruise were excellent and made our overnight stay really good and we enjoyed the food and activities. Unfortunately, however, the communication beforehand and the transfer to and from Hanoi was definitely not the 5-star experience we had booked. Not only that but the boat was nothing like the pictures we’d seen and based our booking decision on.

This cruise was awesome. Great food. Beautiful accommodations. The cruise ship we went on was Dragonbay Premium Cruise. This ship’s interior was beautiful. Our tour guide, Tao, was the best! Book the cruise, you won’t regret it.

The tour is nice as well as the boat even if it was a different boat from the one originally booked. Transport from Hanoi can be improved as on the way there the bus had small seats and stopped 30 minutes to a shopping station. On the way back we had to wait 1 hour at the jetty for the bus to come and pick us up and the dropping place was not as discussed with the guide. Unfortunately the guide is not with you in the bus and the driver usually doesn’t speak English. On the cruise the food was OK … some very good things like the clamps some very bad as the opera cake which we think was expired.

Unfortunatly an apparently old Boat. I had a smelly roam. Its not a tour through Halong Bay, you just stay nearby. Haven't seen Lan Ha Bay.

Beautiful room and food was great. Had a great time. Would’ve liked to have kayaked through a cave instead of a small boat with other people. Also would’ve liked to go to a dry cave to walk through which wasn’t included in the tour.

Excellent choice with La Pandora Cruise! The room is very comfortable and clean. AC fonctions very well, but the bathroom is a bit hot. The restaurant is my favorite part with very well-prepared meal, including menu set for lunch and buffet for dinner and breakfast. The package also includes some water activities such as kayaking, swimming, visiting a preserved cave, etc. Overall, we really enjoy our trip!

Kevin was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and very humorous while being extremely professional. I would recommend Kevin be given a pay raise. The activities were very fun and safe. We totally love the foods that were provided to us during our cruise. I highly recommend all foreign tourists to enjoy the LA Pandora Cruise if anyone ever come to Vietnam.

Cody was an excellent tour guide who helped us with everything and went above & beyond, to ensure our trip was memorable. Our first cruise and our first international trip with our daughter couldn't have been much better. The entire staff of La Pandora were excellent and I will wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Indians who are vegetarians or only eat chicken - there is still a lot of options for you. Ensure you communicate your dietary preferences early - but please don't expect Indian food onboard. They can only help you so much :)

The best part of the cruise experience was probably the bed. Tour guide Peter did his best to explain iteneary in English. Booked a room with 2 beds but was given a room with one. Cruise staff service was lacking. They were quite pushy with drinks revenue.

Bad experience in Halong Bay

The cruise was not luxurious at all. The vessel was old, not nice and dirty. The tap in my bathroom was broken. The toilets were blocked. The food was not fresh, I got sick and I threw up. The crew on boat is not professional. The staff doesn't know the manners how to welcome and serve the customers. I am very disapppointed about this cruise.

If your into a “touristy experience then this might be for you. The boat and crew were great, nice clean and spacious cabin. There was lots of food I mean that seemed to be the main activity so if that’s what your into it was good. The tour its self is not something I would ever do again or recommend. We did not go very far into the bay, we were constantly surrounded by other boats and I mean LOTS of other boats, and the pollution in the water was devastating.

Great experience going to Ha Lang bay. Tour guide was very good. Bus made a "shakedown" stop at a pearl farm which was a bit strange (I presume the bus driver/ tour guide is given a kickback). Kayaking and the cave visit were definitely highlights. The boat was great, but not what I consider 5 star. More like a 3 star. On day 2 "Lunch" as served at 9:45 AM. Would have been nicer to cruise longer and have a more appropriately timed lunch. Overall great experience and would do it again.

We were looking forward to taking in the natural, unique beauty of Halong Bay with a 5-star cruise experience. It was to be the highlight of our visit to Hanoi. Unfortunately, we booked with the wrong cruise company. It was NOT a 5-star experience! The cabin, with its private balcony, made a great first impression. Had the AC worked consistently, I would easily give the stateroom 4 stars. Unfortunately, it came with a 2-star bathroom. And like the stateroom, our first meal, the lunch we received soon after boarding, made a great first impression. It was fantastic! Unfortunately, all meals that followed were below average in quality. The beef dish served at the buffet dinner was absolutely inedible! Relaxing on the main deck and taking in the beautiful setting was destroyed by loud music, clatter of balls from the pool table and the annoying electronic din from a video game machine. We opted to retire early to our stateroom (with intermittent AC) before the karaoke started. The crew, while friendly(ish), didn't seem happy or motivated to provide a memorable service experience. The wifi only worked in the dining room. The overall condition of the boat appeared worn and needed serious attention. I wish I had read the reviews from other Booking sites as they provided a more accurate description of this cruise. There are MANY cruise companies offering a Holong Bay experience. Don't settle for this 3-star experience.

Belle croisière sur cette baie, nous avons apprécié la chambre, l’organisation millimétrée du court séjour et notre guide Lee. Cependant nous avons été déçu par les activités proposées. Elles existent bien mais par exemple la pêche après le dîner n’est seulement que 4 Cannes en bamboo. L’activité de navigation sur les bateaux en bamboo est très rapide et sur de simple bateau. La nourriture n’était pas exceptionnelle. Le rapport qualité/prix est correct avec les transports, la belle chambre et surtout le cadre. De plus nous sommes partis à 8heures jour j et notre retour était à j+1 à 15h (transport compris), la croisière dure donc à peine 24heures.

Falsches Zimmer erhalten

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit drei Einzelbetten gebucht aber ein sehr kleines Doppelzimmer mit einem Klappbaren Zustellbett erhalten. Wir haben reklamiert aber kein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Zudem wurde das Programm geändert, und verkürzt. Ich habe das angesprochen es wurde gesagt dass der Thai Chi Lehrer nicht am Board seie deshalb wir keinen Thai Chi Unterricht bekamen. Es wurde gehetzt und wir mussten um 6:15 bereits erstes Frühstück einnehmen, dann Brunch aber kein Mittagessen weil das Programm gekürzt wurde. Um 9:30 mussten wir bereits vor dem Brunch das Zimmer verlassen. Vor der Reise sollten wir zu einem anderen Hotel mit Taxi für Abholung fahren, zudem wollte er dass wir unsere Pässe Fotos per Whats up senden und er hat uns Fotos der Pässe von zwei mitreisenden gesendet weil weil wir uns geweigert haben. Datenschutz ! Keine Schwimmwesten wurden verteilt auf der Überfahrt! Am Hafen haben wir lange auf den Bus warten müssen! Wir verlangen einen Teil des Geldes zurück weil wir das falsche Zimmer erhalten haben und kein Thai Chi und verkürztes Programm!
