If you are staying in Granada city take a taxi to the Alhambra as it's uphill. The walk back through the tree lined pathway is a lovely stroll. We had a lovely tour guide, Natalia. The tour was very interesting. The Alhambra, it's gardens and views are breathtaking. Don't miss this if you are staying in or near Granada.

An AMAZING place to see! Not ideal for children under 13 years of age. Our tour guide’s technology was not the best with the headphones intermittently working and had a Spanish accent that at times made it difficult to understand.

I missed the tour despite being at the Alhambra and hour early and waiting with an English language group for the appropriate time because the tour operator had changed the meeting place at the last moment. The problem with tours is the difficulty in located the correct guide as there are large crowds and the guides do not identify themselves adequately. The venue will not provide a ticket purchased through a tour company. I queued where the company indicated and was refused a ticket. It took an hour of queuing, arguing and calling the tour operator to receive an individual ticket to enter the Alhambra.

The place is beautiful but the tour operators were completely disorganized, late and cancelled our tour at the very last minute.
We had initially booked the tour 2 months in advance. The tour guide messaged us to confirm that all was well and to arrive at the designated time of arrival (15 minutes prior).!upon arrival, there was no sign of our guide. Once it came time for our tour, we had to contact the main office to see what was going on, to which the reply was an excuse that the guide was picking up people from the parking lot.
After 45 minutes of waiting, the guide finally arrived with a large group of people. At that point he called my party and said that they had overbooked and for us to do a regular tour with an audio guide. When I asked why, he was all agitated and said that they had too many people and we would get a partial refund anyway. At that point I couldn’t believe it and was told to call the office which delayed our tour even longer.
Finally, after 1.5 hours delay we were able to go on our tour, by ourselves.
The person at the office was extremely apologetic and asked for our understanding since they were a small company just starting out. Never again booking with viator

The Alhambra was, of course, beautiful. However, at least in September, the tours were very overcrowded which was unpleasant. The tour felt rushed and it was very difficult to hear despite the individual earphones provided as the guide was very soft spoken and the earphones did not work well.
Unfortunately, we didn’t feel the guide assigned was a good educator. The guide struggled to speak to the larger group vs a few individuals and overall disinterest developed. Our group has taken many group guided tours at museums and archaeological locations in many countries so our expectations were that the guide assigned would be better suited to guide a larger group as we’ve previously experienced.
The self-guided tours where you can listen and explore at your own pace with a pre-recorded listening device would have suited our group better for this experience.

Our guide Sow was so very helpful from the onset of our booking. He had so much knowledge to share and with the VIP skip the line entrance tickets it was so easy to beat the long long queues. A 15 min break was provided to refresh. The stunning history provided by our guide Sow was second to non. Definitely highly recommended

Hannah (Ana in Spanish??) had a great amount of knowledge and just the right amount of energy to keep me engaged and interested the entire 3.5 hours. Some guides are over the top with hyper enthusiasm and joviality but Hannah was perfect for all age groups! Plus, I liked that her multi-colored hair made it easier to find her in a crowd.

The guide YuanKho was brilliant. A local who has studied history and does not believe in having a standard narration. Made it lively and engrossing.
My only issue was the starting point mix up!
Book the 3 hour thing so that the palaces get included.
And walk it down from there through a steep path (not part of the tour).
Worth travelling to Granada to experience this.

Great tour!! Salina, our guide, was super knowledgeable and personable. I travelled solo but she made the whole group feel like friends. I would not have been able to see what I saw without this tour. The streets in the Albayzin and Sacromonte are very narrow and look vary similar and had I not been with a guide, I don’t think I would have seen any of what we saw.. plus the places we stopped for pics of Alhambra were breathtaking!!!
