Matt was delightful, informed, kind and created such a fun experience for my mother and I. He shared so much history and personal experience along the way. He took his time to teach us first time segwayers and was super encouraging. We got to experience so much of Genova and were able to go back to places using the paths he laid out for us. Honestly such a unique and effective way to tour a city. And if you are the people who tend to do a hop on hop off tour then use it as a way to later further explore certain sites, skip it and do a Segway tour instead because you get a much more personal experience and get up close and personal with the sites. Please take the opportunity with Matt, you will love it!

Matt was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and very caring of our safety. We started with a quick lesson and we were off touring the old city. Many narrated stops along the way. It was a fun way to see all of the sights and to hear the history behind it.

My husband and I had never ridden a Segway before and I got little bit scary at first. However our guide Matt, he is the great teacher so I mastered in right away! I strongly recommend this tour since the Genova is big city and has lots of slope so the walking tour is pretty tough. Also Matt speaks English fluently and gave us excellent explanation about history and culture of the Genova. When I toured it was little bit rainy, Matt lend us the raincoat. The rain did not bother me because the tour was too much fun:)

I was nervous about driving a Segway but the tour operators were very patient. The tour around the city was very informative and it was nice to see it from a different angle. By the end of the tour, I was much more confident on the Segway. Definitely a great way to see Genova.

This was a fantastic experience. The Segways were surprisingly easy of figure out and were invaluable on steep streets. The staff were very helpful and patients.

Our guide, Matt was very knowledgeable and patient with us on the segways. We learned so much. I am glad we chose this tour. Highly recommend it. Genoa was a great surprise of a city - especially the old town.

My daughter and son loved it! Wish we had booked the longer one. One hour was definitely not enough to explore the city but our ship left port at 4 pm and they could only choose afternoon. We especially appreciate that even there was only two person (my daughter and son), they did not cancel the activity. Good work ethic.
