Ronaldo was great! This private 4x4 tour introduced us to western Madeira in a super cool Land Rover Defender, exploring roads that can only be traversed by a vehicle like this. We saw highlights and off the beaten path sites with a local. He was super accommodating to our family and gave us a great impression of the hospitality of the people of this island. I highly recommend booking with this company and requesting Ronaldo. Amazing tour with a great guy!
This tour is truly incredible! Justino made sure our family was comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a tailored experience. We traveled with two children and we felt very safe traveling the wild windy roads. This is a must do experience while in Madeira!

We had a great day and it made it us want to see more. We learned about the island and culture in a conversational way. He was also great with the kids, helping them get in and out of the jeep, answering all the questions, and making sure they had a good time too!
Jake was the best tour guide and Madeira is such a beautiful island! We absolutely loved this tour and thank goodness he was a great driver because some of the roads were took were not paved. It was so fun for the entire family - teenagers too!
There was no information shared about the island. I wanted to hear more about the history and culture behind the sights and points of interests. It felt like an expensive taxi. Would not recommend.

We have so many good reviews about the guides and the way we work, you must be a very special person because everybody loves the guides and the island and you didn't like anything, it's very difficult to believe you when you did a full day Private Tour and you didn't talk about the island. You didn't talk about the viewpoints you visit the off-road part that everybody likes the beautiful crazy roads that we did, so you didn't like anything. You did ask the guide to take you to Monte so you could visit the gardens that is not includes on the program, he was flexible so you could enjoy and even so it was not good enough for you.The problem was that you were talking between yourselves and you didn't give a chance for the guide to explain everything and he didn't want to be rude to interrupt you all the time when you were talking between yourself. On TripAdviso is written there that we don't accept negative people on the tours.
I can't believe you because everybody likes and you didn't like anything.
Please next time book with another company we don't need negative people.

We loved touring this beautiful island. 😍 our tour was complete with a wonderful tour guide. Nunu.. that is spelled wrong I am sure...sorry.
Great day seeing the west side of the island. Truly a fantastic experience full of diversity to get a true flavor of the beautiful island.
So much fun and we got to see a lot of the island. We were picked up outside the port. Our guide was there waiting for us. The jeep is really for 4 people, we were 6 plus the driver/guide so 2 of us were sitting in the back jump seat! The tour was comprehensive and took us on some back roads that were very steep. We also stopped at some pretty places for photos.
Our driver Mauricio was so amazing!!! He was fun, knowledgeable and gave us the best experience ever. Madeira is breathtaking with the views we were shown and I would definitely come back to this beautiful island. I would totally recommend you do this jeep tour if you ever visit Madeira.

Nuno was very experienced driver navigating through mountains and small roads . Some of the corners were pretty harrowing but he showed his skills. The natural pools were great and overall the drive through the mountains was brilliant. Thank you Nuno
What I loved about this tour is that Mauricio showed us the tourists spots, but he showed us the local spots. He showed us the true island, explained why there were leaves, showed us the most delightful spots. I loved this tour and highly suggest it.
The best part was Being able to see places off the beaten path that we would never have seen on our own.
