This is a scam—this guy has this class listed a bunch of times, probably because of poor reviews (look at the phone number he uses). This class cost $75 per person which is a LOT for Morocco but would have been worth it if it had actually been a tour and a cooking class. It was neither of these things. Our ‘guide’ didn’t speak any English so we just followed her around the market. She had us pick out onions for participation. The kitchen at the riad wasn’t big enough for four people and wasn’t laid out for a cooking class. And again—they didn’t speak our language so we weren’t actually taught anything. To be honest I’m not convinced that if we did speak French or Arabic they would have really taught us anything either. They were very kind and sweet people but just clearly not tour guides or cooking teachers. Just regular people who were probably very underpaid by whoever listed this posting. We chopped vegetables but mostly they just cooked a meal for us. The food was delicious but this wasn’t a cooking class.
