More than a Cooking Class

Absolutely cannot recommend this cooking class enough! One of the highlights of our trip. Our cooking class ended up just being my partner and I with Fatima and her grandmother - who were incredibly warm and friendly. It was more than a cooking class - we spoke with Fatima at length about life and it was such a meaningful experience to connect beyond the superficial on the other side of the globe. Oh, and the rooftop view where you cook is one of the best in Fes and the meal was hands down our favorite of our time in Morocco! Book this ASAP and don't regret missing it.

Fatima provided a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was incredibly personable, genuinely friendly, and made us feel comfortable right away. Her positive energy and thoughtful approach added so much to our time with her.

We had an awesome time with Grandma and Fatima! We loved interacting with Grandma. Trying to speak through Google translate was fun, and when she heard it, it brought a smile to Grandma. We especially liked going to the market for our ingredients and taking our bread to the community oven. Our food tasted fabulous - as a result of Grandma's guidance.😁 The views from the rooftop kitchen were spectacular. Bottom line: we absolutely loved this! It was wonderful to have a grandma again, if only for a few hours.
