My Driver Ahmed is very friendly and gives a lot of local information about fes and morocco along the trip. And his driving skills is very stable and I appreciated it. The tour guide in Meknes that we joined is very professional too. I enjoyed the trip very much.

Start to finish a good day. There were my family of 5, a couple and a single man. We fit comfortably in tge can. We were never rushed but given tines time return ti the bus. The lunch option was decent prix fixe 125 MAD with overpriced beverages. All were happy.

An interesting and worthwhile day trip. It was well paced with lots of opportunities for breaks and photos. Hassan is a wonderful driver and the tour of Meknes with Rashid was fascinating. If you’re visiting Fès then I highly recommend you visit Meknes too for the complete cultural experience.

Very well organized, expect a pace that is a bit tight because there are lots of things to see. I suggest getting a guide for the meknes tour because you don’t have much time and need to make the most of it

We’ve had tours before in Morocco where the driver was just a driver and didn’t speak English. Hassan was more than a driver, he was a guide, and did speak English and French! The amount of time we had in Volubilis and Meknes was perfect and as a small group of 6 tourists we collectively decided to skip going into Moulay Idriss town, though the panoramic view was amazing. Would highly recommend this day trip from Fès - Volubilis was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and Meknes was surprisingly different from Fes. Local guide there was great as well! Entry to Volubilis is now 100 MAD for foreign adults, and bring some cash as well to tip the guides and pay for lunch.

The highlight of the day was the visit of Meknes with a local guide, the city has a number of interesting sights and it felt much more relaxed and pleasant than nearby Fez. Volubilis was for us a bit of a let down, the site is large but the lack of information and directions made our visit very superficial. The lunch place in Meknes was surprisingly good.

A very enjoyable informative day. Pick up on time & at the appointed location. Great driver & Hassan the overall trip guide. We has scenic stops & an hour for lunch at a great restaurant. Good communication beforehand from Zahra at 3T Travel who provided useful tips and also helped to ensure a smooth pick-up on the day, at a location close to our riad. Though I would have held off on sending the ads for other trips/activities until after the trip (e.g. as part of a "Thank you for choosing us, please feel free to leave us a review, and here are other tours we offer" message).
We opted to have local guides which we felt was the right decision, especially in Volubilis. We were given the choice of stopping in Moulay Idriss or driving through - based on our guide's advice, we decided to skip it.
Our first stop in Meknes was lunch at a restaurant - though our guide did say we were free to go elsewhere, he didn't offer alternative options (we were not keen on a multi-course meal and the restaurant they took us to felt a bit too much like a tourist trap) so we were left trying to find somewhere on our own in a new city and with limited time. We did go on a Friday (31 Oct), knowing that the souks in Meknes would be closed, so while we had the medina mostly to ourselves, we knew we missed out on the vibrant market atmosphere. The guides on the bus seemed a little superfluous, with one guide for the route to Volubilis and another on the route to Meknes, but neither of them really sharing much information.
Ultimately, we're grateful this tour existed as we wouldn't have been able to see Volubilis and Meknes otherwise.

Zaki picked me up on time at my hotel. While some passengers were late, he was very polite, respectful and friendly. He gave us very interesting commentaries on the places we were passing by and stopped at a few panoramic view points. He was a very careful driver and we felt very safe. The tour was long but we all enjoyed it. Thank you Zaki for a wonderful day!

Spacious bus (only 10 of us on the tour) that was air conditioned. Our guides in the car were great! Good energy and knowledgeable. Rashid, our guide in Meknes, was phenomenal. He was the highlight of our day! He had an in depth knowledge of Meknes and great humour. They supplied water for us throughout the day. Entry to Volubilis was €10/person. Entry to the music museum was €3/person (really cool museum). Guides at both Meknes and Volubilis were included in the price.

This tour was good value- pickup and drop off were efficient and it was very well run- (thanks to Said and Aziz). We hit a lot of different spots and it didn’t feel like we spent too much time driving. I definitely recommend getting the local guides, they added a lot to the experience. Our tour was on a Friday so most of the shops in the Medina in Meknes were closed but our tour guide Rashid made sure that we still had plenty to see and learn! budget an extra 250-300 dirhams per person for things not included and bring snacks and water to save some $$$. Overall a great day trip from Fes.

We had a wonderful trip which was mixed of Roman ruins archeological sites and Meknes Medina. Our tour driver/guide Mr Zakir make this trip more comfortable with his advices and kind extra time.
The highlights of the trip are roman ruins archeological site in Volubilis, Meknes Medina trip. We did shopping in Meknes Medina where price seems cheaper than Marrakech/Fes. Thanks to the tour operator and specially to Mr Zakir.

You will need to pay at volubilis! Tour guides presented are lovely, the restaurant is okay but not worth the cost, I recommend eating beforehand and then eating after so you don't have to eat too much at the restaurant they drop you off at, definitely bring water, and keep an eye on your driver- make sure to know exactly the time and location he will meet you at after dropping you off to wander around!

There are so many beautiful sceneries to take in. The tour around Meknes was amazing and Rashid did a great job! He has interesting things to share with us. We had a great walk around the Medina and town. The Roman ruins was also very interesting (not so much from what the guide told us) but it was interesting to be there.

We had a great crew Hassan (driver), and Baha (guide). It’s our first trip of 3 day and multiday trips with 3T travel. I was nervous at first because of a few recent mediocre reviews about the company. But everything turned out well. The only hiccup was the local guide at Volubilis who was taking more time than allocated. Other than that everything went smoothly

The sites themselves were fine. We had great local guides, however, the company that organized it (3T) was very disorganized. The "guide" on the bus was over an hour late, but didn't notify us. I had to call her twice. Once, she didn't answer. When they finally arrived, we got on one empty bus (signifying there were not other pickups prior), drove around a big block, then dropped us off at the same place where we boarded a much older bus. The driver was on the phone the whole time, or talking to the guide. She was pleasant, but never talked to us. She didn't explain the itinerary, none of the sites we were visiting (especially the panoramics), or did anything but talk to the driver. It has been my experience that the people in the area are proud to talk about the place they live and want to tell you about it. I will have to do my own research to find out about the panoramic stops we were at. When we got to Volubilis, there was extreme disorganization. So much time was wasted because she didn't give clear instructions. It took us much longer to get there than it should, also. The site and the local guide there was very good. Then we went to a lunch spot arranged by the company. We were given an hour, which should have been sufficient, but I sat there for over thirty minutes, and no waiter had even come to the table to take my drink order. At one point, I worried I wouldn't eat. Some of the others in my group had already been served and let me have some off their plate. I don't eat that much, so it was fine. It was past 3 pm before we ate lunch, and I was ravenous. Basically, I am not sure why I paid for this tour, since the entrances weren't included, the lunch wasn't included, and I didn't learn anything new, like I had hoped. However, the sites themselves are not to be missed. I just wish the company could have been on time and had some sort of a plan before dispatching.

Nicely organized tour. The tour guide at Volubilis and at Meknes were both extremely knowledgeable and shared a wealth of knowledge. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like a day trip outside of Fes.

Overall, it is a great experience, we all wish the stay at Volubilis can be a bit longer. We skip stopping at the town in Moulay Idriss, but we feel rush in Meknes.

This tour is a bargain. I was in a group of eight and the minibus was spotlessly clean. I especially enjoyed the stop in the Roman ruins of Volubilis where our guide was EXCELLENT. Guide in Meknes was not so great, and wasted our time at high-priced tourist shops. My main complaint is that the driver received a traffic violation, creating a delay, and then got lost leaving Meknes, causing another short delay. Finally, he did a detour to a police station to try and get his driver's license back, creating yet another delay. We were only 15 minutes from the final drop off location in Fez and already an hour late for returning, so why not drop us customers first and then go to the police station? Rather clueless.
