The driver picked us up at the Ravenna cruise terminal and delivered us to the main boat station in Venice. Unfortunately due to inclement weather that day we could not be taken directly to the canal entrance of our hotel. Instead we were taken to a dock on one of the more principal canals and had to walk about 15 min (through the rain) with our luggage. The young man assigned to us for tue boarding ride was courteous and assisted with rolling our luggage to the hotel (we appreciated this service); however it would have been good to have been notified beforehand what our options were to avoid the walk in the rain.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused upon arrival in Venice. On that day, the unusually high tide level, combined with the weather conditions, made it impossible for the water taxi to reach the canal entrance closest to your hotel. Unfortunately, this is a situation beyond our control and, for safety reasons, the alternative drop-off point had to be used.
We do understand, however, that walking for approximately 15 minutes in the rain with your luggage was not ideal. We appreciate your feedback regarding communication and will do our best to ensure that guests are informed as clearly as possible about any necessary changes to the drop-off arrangements.

Got off the cruise raining ppl getting wet to all fit in à bus. My driver was waiting and quick and easy. Smooth than I got to Venice another person had my taxi boat ready and waiting. Pls truly the right way to go

This was a great experience. Effortless. We got off the cruise ship and our driver was already waiting for us. The drive was about 2 hours to Venice. When we arrived to Venice someone else was waiting for us to direct us to our water taxi to take us to our hotel. I would highly recommend this service.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am really glad we paid the extra to include the boat taxi to the hotel. The place our driver dropped us off was so busy, but he had someone there waiting to hand us over to that took us to a water taxi that had already been set up for us. We didn't have to try to figure any part of the experience out on our own.

It's about 2 hours long with 1 toilet break if needed. Take break near end of trip since there are not any obvious W C at destination. Driver was helpful and led us to water taxi.

Marco and Giovanna were a dream team in helping our extended family of 6 transfer from the Ravenna cruise port to our Venice hotel. Marco made the drive seem easy while also providing info of the sites along the way and tips for our stay in Venice. Giovanni expertly took us from water taxi through a short route to our hotel door. It helped us get started on a wonderful bookend stay at the end if our cruise.

Excellent communication from the company. While the driver did not speak much English, he was professional and courteous from start to finish. We were most impressed at how he helped us secure a water taxi in Venice ahead of our arrive and how he helped us with our bags to get to said Water Taxi. The price was also definitely a fair one for the transfer compared to other options we explored.

The driver drove pretty fast and passed rows of cars with significant oncoming traffic. It was a little concerning however, when in a foreign country understand there may be differences in driving styles.

The drive from Ravenna to Venice was great. The driver provided water bottles for all 6 of us passengers. Driver arrived at the cruise port early, which was perfect timing of us getting off the cruise.

We checked and found that you asked for an early departure at 9:15am instead of 10.00am. We obliged, as we always do with all our customers. But then you showed up 45 minutes late, at 10.00am. So, who is the horrible person?
Arrived right on time as scheduled. Was very professional, friendly and helpful. So glad we opted for the water taxi portion too, as arriving at the hotel could have been difficult without it!

Driver met us right outside the cruise terminal, and even though it was raining, he was patient and helped with the luggage for 6 people. Excellent service from start to finish. The only issue we had was a very irate shop owner where we stopped to use the restroom in rural Italy. Even though we planned to make a purchase, she was screaming at us (in Italian). For a 2 hour drive, it would be nice if the drivers had a planned location for a pit stop.

Due to a crazy coincidence (not of Luxer's making), we ended up in a vehicle with the wrong company headed to the wrong place. (Two drivers and companies scheduled to pick up different "Roberts" at 7:30AM from the cruise terminal). Forty-five minutes into our "transfer", I received a phone call from Luxer (Viator) stating that their driver was waiting for us at the cruise terminal since 7:15AM (it was now about 8:15AM). I said that can't be possible because we were in a vehicle headed to Venice with our driver. It turns out the other driver picked up the wrong "Robert" (I asked if he wanted to see our ticket and he said he didn't need to) and while in the vehicle we even asked how long the drive was to Venice. (His original fare was going to Bologna). At any rate, I asked the person who called if the driver would wait for us at the cruise terminal and it would take about 45 minutes for us to turn around and get there. The driver, Stefano, agreed to wait for us to return to the terminal. We arrived back at the terminal a little after 9AM and Stefano was there waiting for us. I have nothing but the highest marks to Luxer and Stefano for the professionalism and for waiting for us when they really didn't have to based on the contract terms. Stefano is a great young man and he drove carefully and didn't seem to mind having had to wait for us. Based on this excellent service, we scheduled another transfer for later in the week with Luxer.

I wish there was a zero star option. Pick up at 6am for an airport transfer. At 5:50 get a call there was an accident and the car won’t arrive. Fine, things happen and glad the driver is okay. I can’t miss my return flight. I asked if they’d send another car, they said no. They said to request a refund thru Viator and once I did they went radio silent.

As you well know, our vehicle broke down on the way to Ravenna. We offered to send you a replacement vehicle as soon as possible, but you refused, preferring the competition (Uber).
Great service, well worth the money. Our driver Marko spoke very good English. He arrived on time and was a very pleasant young man. The mini bus was very clean and comfortable. The transfer was approximately 2.5 hours and on the journey Marko pointed out places of possible interest and advice on getting around Venice as I use a wheelchair, his tips and hits were gratefully received. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Very nice black Mercedes S class vehicle and comfortableThe driver was on time. Only difficulty was confirming the pick up time as the options on the scheduling website were a little difficult to fill out. It would’ve been nice to receive a confirmation from the driver in advance, given all the transportation difficulties coming in and out of the Ravenna cruise terminal.

Arrived safely at our island resort and we had a great driver, but too fast on the road for me. Not used to the speed and passing on European freeways. But ship to private shuttle to water taxi transfer was seamless and we were at our resort on time as promised. Still pricey though!
