Two hours, light, easy, funny. It was exactly the primer we were looking for. Daniel also has a Scottish history degree so he knows his stuff. He likes to play with his guests so if you come, have a good attitude. He is a comedian after all.
Danial is the funniest Scot alive! He made us laugh as we fell in love with Edinburgh. He also brought his dog! It was a super fun experience and no tour will ever compare! Highly recommend! But be wary - Danial's wit is unrivaled so come ready to give and get good banter!

Daniel has a unique way of sharing his wealth of historical knowledge on Edinburgh. From his "saucy" commentary to his witty observations, I enjoyed some good laughs while learning more about the old city.
We had a brilliant time on Daniel’s comedy walking tour, definitely one of the highlights of our visit. Daniel really knows his Edinburgh history, but what makes this tour different is how he turns it into comedy. At the start he gets to know everyone in the group and remembers names and bits of information, weaving them into the stories and jokes as we went along. It made the whole thing feel more spontaneous and personal rather than a rehearsed tour.
Be warned - audience participation is definitely encouraged! If you don’t engage you may find yourself on the end of good-natured ribbing, but all good natured and fun.
And then there is Bran, possibly the star of the tour, he is incredibly friendly and well behaved who makes his way round the tour group to give everyone an opportunity to pet him.
A great combination of Edinburgh history, story-telling, quick witted comedy and a very lovely dog. If you want to learn about the city, I’d recommend Daniel and Bran.

Daniel was hilarious, Brahan was chill. You will learn and laugh as you cover quite some ground. Daniel really got to know the 9 of us and treated us as both family AND an audience.
I had a great afternoon with Danial and his great dog Bran! I loved how he went over Edinburgh’s architecture, history of the city’s population and sense of humor. He remembered the names of everyone in the group within ten minutes (at least 12 people) and made sure everyone was included in the group! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you again

This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Daniel had the entire group completely engaged the entire 2 hours. He is very funny and mixed jokes and histtory together in a really unique and fascinating way. If you can't take a joke, it might not be your cup of tea, but if you want to learn and have a laugh, this is the BEST tour ever!
This is a great way to have a good time and also learn some history and culture! Daniel is hysterical and also incredible knowledgeable. You’ll leave the tour still laughing and also more knowledgeable. It’s a must-do in Edinburgh!

We had a fabulous afternoon with Daniel and his beautiful dog Bran. Daniel told us a lot of Edinburgh’s history in a very entertaining way and we laughed all afternoon. If you get the chance to go on the comedy tour with Daniel you won’t be disappointed.
2 hour, very entertaining and funny, stroll with no toilet break. Daniel took us to spots we hadn’t been before and provided a funny and informative commentary.
This is a must do activity for adult visitors of Edinburgh. Daniel and his dog, Bran, escorted us through the city streets and provided appropriate breaks along the way. The historical facts were presented in a comical way, and Daniel made sure to get to know his audience. Daniel knows his history and shared a lot of interesting facts and tidbits about the history of Edinburgh and Scotland. I would recommend this tour for adults only. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
This tour is a must, we had such a laugh, I was with 5 friends from all over England and we all enjoyed it. Scottish humour was brilliant, everyone loved it. The tour was different to the other tours we did that week, we saw different places and the stories were a bit different, very funny. Anyone who doesn’t like this tour, can’t have a sense of humour.

This is the best way to see and learn about old Edinburgh. Entertaining and historically accurate. Highly recommend.
A gentle stroll round some Old Town hidden gems with a fast paced commentary. Daniel must have done this hundreds of times but he kept it fresh and personal. We only have a few days in the city and this will certainly stand out as one of the highlights.
If you don’t have a sense of humor, this tour is not for you. If you can’t take a joke at your own expense this tour is not for you. If you don’t care about the history of Edinburgh, this tour is not for you. If you bring an aged 3-year bottle of whisky on the tour, you will be torn to shreds. Otherwise, holy moly, Daniel’s tour is a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience (for adults only!)… Absolutely electric! We’d have spent 2 more hours hanging out with him (& his dog) if we could. A+++

Daniel was a great tour guide, even though he raked us all at some stage, which was all part of the fun! He took the time to get to know us all and remembered our names, which was super impressive. I’ve been to Edinburgh many many times but I learnt so much on this tour that I never knew before. What a wonderful, amazing city! Special mention to Brahan, star of the show :)

Daniel’s comedy tour of Edinburgh was a really fun and unique intro to Scottish history. He did a great job getting to know everyone in the group and was constantly engaging with us, which made it feel way more personal.
He’s also very funny and definitely doesn’t hold back on his jokes. We’re American, so there was plenty to make fun of, which honestly made it even better. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good laugh, isn’t too soft, and wants to learn about Scotland from someone very knowledgeable.
2 great fun hours with Daniel and his doggie !! Learned quite a few interesting historical facts too!
