This visit is now called the Underground Ghost Tour so when we'd visited that the night before then were told the Tour of Terror was now called The Underground Ghost Tour so was the same tour we were not impressed!! Apparently only changed the name recently but not updated anything it seems!! Applied for a refund as this ruined our evening. When I booked it was a different description and even a different picture so very misleading

Agnes Sampson has a really nice way to explain things and her accent is very understandable which is very nice for foreigners

The Greyfriars Kirkyard was so cool and the vaults were spooky! Our tour guide Dr Knox was very good.

This tour was amazing!! We went all around the city learning about different ghosts, witches, and how it entwines with Edinburgh history. Our guide Agnes Finnis was fabulous! She was funny, informative, and stayed in character the whole time. All and all, I would highly recommend this tour

Standing on approx. 12 dead bodies whereever we walked on the graveyard.

Good activity for families but not for people that are not easily scared or getting into the mood.
Our tour guide was amazing; funny, polite and a bit scary too. However we expected to see more of the monuments or even get inside, to feel the vibes. We only got inside the vaults and saw only 3 of them. This part was the most interesting/scary one. The biggest part of the tour was just walking from one monument to the other.

This was just poor. Guide repeatedly swearing throughout the tour. Not particularly nice to the tourists. As a local found myself apologising to a number of the party who were from overseas and not impressed. About 50% of the group gave up listening.
Been on this tour before and its been OK but not this time. Just no need to be like that.

Interesting to hear the history of Scotts and Edinburgh. Group wasn't too big. Interesting to learn about how things were back hundreds of years ago and underground/land in the area.

Nice little tour of Edinburgh’s dark history. Our guide Agnes was so good and entertaining. She might’ve been dressed as a witch but she certainly wasn’t one. She was a great storyteller and didn’t use any black magic on us during the tour. You’ll be lucky to get her as your guide!

We did the tour last night (30th Dec.) with Captain Grey. There were interesting stories but nothing particularly scary. We where a bit disappointed re the catacombs as we expected a bit more but that is no reflection on Captain Grey who worked extremely hard with limited resources. However, after looking at my photos in the graveyard I appear to have captured something!

It was a great time. Self aware, funny host. Spooky here and there (which was great for us but not scary scary if that’s what you’re looking for) but informational and funny. Perfect for a last minute booking with my wife and 2 girls (11, 14). Tour was only 8 people so it was easy to stay together and hear.

The story told by the red witch is very engaging. She was very entertaining and the history details was a bonus. I recommend this to anyone that like the dark side. The vaults are the coolest.
