It was so much fun doing this tour with Rosie! I absolutely loved her sense of humour and her positive energy. I wasn’t a big fan of gin and tonic when I arrived, but now it’s my favourite drink! You introduced us to the wonderful world of gin, and we’d be delighted to introduce you to our favourite French drink: Champagne! 🥂🍸. Marine & Bastien !

This is a really nice facility. Our guide, James, was awesome and told us about making gin and had a great sense of humor. It was interesting to learn about how to select a “better“ garnish for a G&T based on the gin. All of the staff members we interacted with were friendly and proud of their company. We recommend this tour.

If you're in Edinburgh you have to try this experience! First time gin drinker and loved it. You get to learn the background of Edinburgh Gin and how gin is made but in a fast and interesting way. Then, more importantly, you have 5 different gin tasters during the experience. If you're lucky enough to get Rosie as your guide, you will definitely enjoy this tour.

Rosey is the best!

Rosey was our host and couldn't have been better. She is authentically passionate about the history of the product and company and it shined every moment of the presentation. Any questions about the gin or history were enthusiastically and thoroughly answered, leading to excellent organic discussion amongst the group. Guests that were not drinking were quickly accommodated after a brief moment of confusion (not on Rosey or the distillers part!) and the group appeared to be entertained and happy the entire time.

It was very nice. Started with a gin and tonic, while we watched a short film on gin. Then he talked about botanicals and his history with Edinburgh Gin. He was very interesting. Then we did a tasting of 4-5 gins and we had a choice on the last one. I learned a lot, enjoyed the relaxation, and had a couple drinks. There was an offer of some sort of discount if you l wanted a drink or to buy something from the shop. They had some interesting flavors available. Would definitely recommend!

The best time you’ll have learning about the most misunderstood spirit. This is not my first time visiting Edinburgh Gin but it is at its new location. The tour is informative, entertaining and the best way to enjoy gin. James was a riot, had so much passion and made sure we enjoyed every moment of the tour (I think he may need a raise!)

Warm and friendly welcome in the beautiful new setting before going through to taste our first drink. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable and explained all about the process and the botanicals that go into making their gin (along with another sample). We then went onto the tasting room where we got to sample four more gins in a private room. We then went into the bar to enjoy a cocktail (paid for separately) and overlooking the stills and Edinburgh beyond. It was a lovely experience and one I’d definitely recommend. Will consider returning if ever in Edinburgh again.

Amazing tour! Tasting and viewing how Gin is made was wonderful. Our tour guide Sammin (believe how spelled) was extremely knowledgeable of the whole process. Made the time fly by, tasting the Gin didn’t hurt also. Definitely a tour that is worth taken for all Gin lovers and anyone who wants to enjoy tasting Gin.

Who knew gin has a shelf life after a bottle is opened?

Rosie was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She made the tour fun with stories and anecdotes. You must have cocktails in the rooftop bar also. One cocktail was better than the other. The mixologist was outstanding as well as Rosie 2.0.
