The whole experience was fun and entertaining. We almost skipped the event because of travel fatigue. So glad we didn’t. We laughed, sang and danced our hearts out. I wouldn’t want to start our vacation any other way

We went with children ages 9 & 5 it was a little too much for the 5 year old however everyone else had a wonderful time the dancers were very sweet and. dance with our oldest and Jim our MC was fantastic great songs to sing along to well worth your time and money.

We had a great time. We learned steps to an Irish jig, listened to songd and watched talented dancers. Just a warning, you have to walk up some step stairs, it is upstairs over a bar.

Terrible experience. Seated in a corner without a view of performer or dancers. Venue was overcrowded. Requested a table change and the managers' contact details with the hostess who said we would be assisted and then disappeared. Left after 20 minutes.

Hello, thank you for your review. You booked on Christmas eve, our staff were stretched as it was to deal with the demand. The venue was not over capacity. I have personally sat in the seats you were in many times and there is an unobstructed view of the performers. If you left after 20 minutes you certainly did not experience what the show is all about. The people sitting beside you were perfectly content. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Amazing experience! Would say it’s a have to do while in Dublin! Traveling with a group from 2 to 80 and everyone is having a blast

Booked for the Irish music and dancing. Gary, the singer/musician was amazing! Dancers are talented but only danced 3 songs for about 90 seconds. The rest of the time we were split into 2 groups and taught 3 short dances which was fun. Please note if you’re sitting on the bottom level facing the bar, you’ll be looking at the backs of the dancers. Which is a bummer. Lastly, please eat before this event as you can only order drinks.

Our event was cancelled due to lack of numbers. Viator you have disappointed on this occasion as we should have been booked on an alternative but this did happen. I still received reminder emails about the event and now asking for a review. This is not our usual Viator experience which has always been spot on.

We’re very sorry that your Irish Dance Party experience was cancelled. During the quieter months of the year, it can occasionally happen that we don’t reach the minimum number of participants required to run the event.
We truly appreciate your understanding — cancellations like this are rare, and we’re always striving to ensure every guest enjoys the fun and lively experience.

The experience is interactive, centered around learning Irish dancing. There is also a lot of guitar music, but that part is not entirely and authentic experience

Intimate and lively with classic Irish music, talented dancers, and delicious food! The musicians were welcoming and warm, and the wait staff was helpful and kind. With a beautiful venue overlooking the Liffey, you can’t ask for a more pleasant evening!

Some considerations before you book....
1) it can be alot of people. We had like 40+.
2) this meant that one third of the time was spent listening / watching the professionals perform. One third spent learning to dance and dancing. One third spent sitting around, as they had to split the 40+ into two groups for the dancing.
3) even when they split the group, you're still in a 20+ person group. Trying to watch one person teach how to dance. It's impossible.
4) so really, out of the 2 hours, you're getting only about 40-50 minutes of watching some good music and dancing. The rest was not worthwhile. In fact, some people left early.

Thank you for joining the Irish Dance Party.
We sincerely appreciate your insight on the event.
We are sorry you did not fully enjoy it due to the amount of attendants, please note that we take very good care of the amount of tickets we sell and are extra cautious with the capacity of the venue so everyone can enjoy the lessons.
We separate the attendants into two groups so everyone can have the chance to learn the steps and participate, this guarantees everyone has the opportunity to dance.
We find the people like to sit back and take in the atmosphere while the other group is dancing, this happens for the first two dances.
Out of the 2 hours there will be approximately 20 minutes of watching the other group dance, then the last dance everyone dance together, the rest is dance lessons, dance show and live music entertainment.
Our dancers teach the group 3 Irish Dances which last for 20 minutes, 20 minutes and 10 minutes respectively.
We will take you insight into consideration for future events.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback.
