Itinerary
Early in the morning, greet your guide at a central Dublin location and climb aboard a luxury, air-conditioned coach. Set off, admiring the rolling green hills of the Irish countryside and listening to commentary from your guide as you go.
After passing through picturesque areas like County Tipperary and County Kildare, arrive at the Rock of Cashel. Hear the legends that surround the imposing twin towers of the cathedral and take a guided tour of the structure’s Hall of Vicars and Cormac’s Chapel, home to the oldest Romanesque wall painting in Ireland.
Next, head to the ancient fortress of Blarney Castle, famed for one of Ireland’s best-loved treasures, the Blarney Stone. Ascend to the castle’s tower to kiss the Blarney Stone and receive, according to legend, the skill of eloquence.
Travel onward to Cahir Castle, a medieval castle that is one of the largest in the country.
Return to the coach for the journey back to Dublin, where the tour concludes.

Wonderful day exploring the castles. My favorite is Blarney, absolutely gorgeous area. Recommend heading straight to kiss the stone, can be a wait at times unfortunately. Wish had more time to enjoy this castle than the others. 2 others are beautiful to enjoy. The tour on Cahir was great. Tour guy was funny and gives a great history of his family and how it relates to the castle. Our group was small, about 15, our driver / tour guide was funny and kept the time going. Definitely a well worth tour to take. Cheers!

Great day tour from London. Bus was comfortable and had USB chargers and wi-fi. You end up stopping every 1.5 hours or so for either a bathroom rest stop or tour location - the longest journey with no stop was about 2.5 hours on the way back to Dublin. All the stops were great and gave enough time to see the sites. Your experience at Blarney will vary because it's so large and you could end up spening most of your time in line to kiss the stone (we had a 30 minute wait in September). Our driver Philip was great and shared a lot of information on the sites and throughout Dublin. We had 2 teenagers who enjoyed the tour too.
If Frank Buckley is driving you're sure to have a good time on the ride, he's knowledgeable, friendly,funny, can almost carry a tune 😂

Derrick was our driver and tour guide. His knowledge and story telling was top notch and loved his singing too! The Blarney Stone grounds are beautiful, we didn’t kiss the stone. The grounds were crowded and thought we didn’t have enough time. Rock of Cashel sits on top of a beautiful hill and views are amazing. Cahir Castle is really something to walk through and the history is something to learn.

This was an interesting tour to see 3 castles in. 1 day. We were uncertain about the steps going up to the Blarney Stone but it wasn’t bad. They are very narrow steep steps but the crowd moves so slow that it is one step at a time then a pause to the next step. Even if you’re out of shape you can manage. There is a rope to hang on to as well. The leaning backwards to kiss the stone was also easier than a lot of reviews indicate. It passes very fast. You can have someone take pictures of you or buy a picture. The bus was very comfortable but there was no Wi-Fi and no charging ports. So you will not be able to charge your devices on the trip. The tour guide continuously used bad language including the F word. Be aware if you are bringing children.
Yes Blarney Stone is a tourist trap but it is still worth kissing. We saw 3 spectacular castles on the tour . Driving through the small towns was amazing as you got to see parts of Ireland most don’t. Bus driver Connor told stories, gave us a class on Irish language and handled the bus problem with ease. If you like history this tour is for you.
This was a great trip. Lots of bathroom breaks. The day started out at Rock of Cashel with cute shops (loved the Cashel Woolen Store). Very scenic. Then we went to Cahir Castle. Super interesting history. The stairs are very narrow and there are lots of cobblestones so I would be cautious of you have mobility issues. I would also recommend shoes with thicker soles. Next up was the Blarney Stone. The castle visite was quick to kiss the stone and the gardens were spectacular. The seafood chowder at Christy's Bar and Grill was the best I've ever had. 10/10. Lunch was at 2:30 so brings snacks if you get hungry. Connor was an awesome guide. He had lots of stories and interesting facts. He played music and kept us entertained throughout.

Lovely trip through the Irish countryside to see three beautiful old castles and get a feel for life in the Middle Ages! Our tour guide was hilarious, kept us interested and laughing the whole way and back!

The USB ports did not work, and of course during long drives, the phone is helpful. More commentary by the drive would have also been helpful

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing tour experiences I’ve had. While the Blarney Stone, Rock of Cashel, and Cahir Castle are beautiful places to visit, the overall experience was overshadowed by the attitude and behavior of our guide, Phillip.
From the beginning of the day, Phillip came across as rude, inconsiderate, and impatient. He repeatedly expressed that he “needed to calm down,” and his low tolerance for even minor delays created a stressful and uncomfortable atmosphere for the entire group. Rather than feeling relaxed and excited to explore, I constantly felt rushed and nervous that someone would be left behind if they were even slightly late.
One interaction in particular was extremely uncomfortable. After waiting approximately two minutes for a family, Phillip told them that, because he had waited for them, they “better be big tippers.” I found this comment completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
The sites themselves were worth visiting, but the guide’s attitude significantly impacted the experience and made it difficult to enjoy the day. A tour should feel welcoming, organized, and enjoyable not stressful from the moment it begins.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend booking this tour, particularly if Phillip is your guide.
Bring snacks it's a long day. Plan for it to be a little chilly. Even on the hottest day of the year the Blarney stone castle location is still cold. I just recommend bringing layers.
Lots of castles! If you wait on line to kiss the Blarney Stone, you will have little time to explore the grounds. However the narrow rock stairs up to the stone give you a feeling of what it was like to live there!
Great tour, good guide. Patty was knowledgeable and entertaining. There are a lot of steps and walking so wear good shoes!

The sights were wonderful! However, I would recommend taking this tour from a closer starting point than Dublin. A great deal of time is spent driving in the bus. The driver/guide did a good job of explaining and informing

Terrific tour…the castles are incredible and the logistics superb. Hilda is very accommodating and Eddie our driver professional and friendly as well. We had lots of time at each castle. The climb to the top of Blarney Castle was 128 steep steps but no que. The gardens are so well maintained. The Rock of Cashel complex is large and the medieval ruins stunning. There is time to grab food along the way. Just a great trip.

This tour is great if you want to see Blarney Castle and other important cites that aren’t too far from it. The tour guide, Bobo, was great with keeping things moving and interesting! We made every castle in good time and I felt satisfied that I saw everything I wanted.

So fun. The stairs up to the top are VERY narrow but it’s amazing at the top. The mine was about 30 min wait. Our tour guy Tom was great.

Rock of Cashel was gorgeous and we loved the countryside. Cahir Castle was great, however would have been better to spend less time there and more time at Blarney Castle. If you do this tour, take a lunch with you so you can spend more time exploring Blarney Castle and its grounds instead of finding something to eat. It’s gorgeous!
The tour overall was awesome and highly recommend it.

It was amazing to see the sights but the bus was soooo hot and stuffy with no air conditioning....it was nauseating to be on a bus for that many hours so miserably stuffy and hot

This was my favorite thing we did on our 9 days in Ireland. The Blarney Castle felt like it was going to be just a tourist trap, but the actual castle itself was interesting and the trip to the top is not for sissies! The Rock of Cashil and the Cahir Castle were also wonderful historical and largely untouched historical edifices.
