100% Worth It!

John_A, Aug 2025
Five stars aren’t enough for Gordon! 🌟 The perfect mix of knowledge, humor, and care — he turned a good tour into a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. Every detail was handled with warmth and skill, leaving us smiling long after it ended.

Amazing tour of the green isle!

Amy_P, Jun 2025
What an incredible trip! Danny, our guide and driver, was outstanding in every way. Accommodations were great, especially Paddywagons home base location!! Don’t hesitate to book this. Small bus and small group. Great views from any seat. Enjoy!!

Dependant on the guide...

Anne_H, Jun 2025
Dependant on the guide and the other people on the tour. We were pretty good with both. A small group of 10 or no more than 15 is essential. If you want ancient history or stories about the areas were passing through, we didn't get much. A lot on The Troubles, and more on The Troubles. Important but didn't need to dominate so much. The guide should also stop giving opinions about the problems with windmills or the virtues of nuclear power. Subjects he knows nothing about. Some of the recommended dinner places was a bit hit and miss. Otherwise, it was quite good.

Great trip with Viator on...

Terrylee_D, May 2025
Great trip with Viator on the small group 6 day tour of Ireland. Stevie our tour guide was excellent. Would recommend Paddy Wagon Tours. Booking thru Viator rather than direct to Paddy Wagon was questionable. We were hesitant that anyone would even show up the first morning. Conversations with Viator on 2 occasions did not relieve this fear. Viator booking was non refundable but Paddy Wagon was totally refundable until one day before.tour started. Unfortunately when trying to book online, you are always rerouted to Viator. Think is unfortunate for PaddyWagon. I

A great time :)

Agnes_Z, Jul 2024
The whole trip was memorable because we were able to see so many different sites plus Learn a lot about the history of Ireland. Our tour guide Danny was one of the best tour guides we have had, he was very knowledgeable and friendly to everyone making sure we all had what we needed. The best part is when he told some of the stories/legends coming from Ireland and we could see the land reflected in those stories. My favorite part was learning about and visiting derry :)

Hassle free way to see Ireland.

Annalissa_C, Jul 2024
It’s been quite an experience from start to finish. We did the 6-day tour of Ireland. Overall, it’s a convenient way to see Ireland. We loved that no one had to worry about driving, or navigating the often times narrow and hectic roads. We were chartered to all major sights without having to worry about a thing. Our tour guide would hand us our tickets, tell us a time to be back, and we were set off to explore. Super hassle-free and convenient. The first day we were on a smaller bus with about 20 people to Belfast. Gordon was more than willing to share his knowledge with us. I would say that it’s important to be on time during each spot because they have a pretty strict schedule, and they will leave you if you are more than 15 minutes late. On the second day, we were picked up in a larger bus with Vincent. For the next 2 days, we traveled to Belfast and Derry on a large bus as a group of 5! It was amazing. Vincent gave us leeway in our daily itinerary, and we got to see a bunch of cool stuff along the way! Days 4-6, we met up with the rest of our group, so our itinerary was a little more structured. I will say that Vincent did a great job of allowing us bathroom breaks frequently. We rarely went over an hour without a stop for the entirety of the trip. The hotels were all basic, most were clean, and all were centrally located. Once we parked for the night, we were able to walk everywhere in the town. It’s important to note that the Dingle Peninsula is not actually the town of Dingle, but a tiny street about 18 KM away. There isn’t much to do. There are 5 bars in the entire town, one of them being the Randy Leprechaun, which is owned and operated by Paddy Wagon Tours. They provided live “entertainment” for us. If you like having a creepy, cheesy, older man repeatedly make awkward sexual comments like, “shake your ass and titties” and sing along to American classics, I would highly recommend The Randy Leprechaun. Otherwise, check out one of the other bars for a bit more authenticity. Our only main complaint was our hotel in Killarney. It was outdated, smelled awful, and had the most uncomfortable beds. Even though we did not choose the backpackers option, we were housed with them because the original hotel was out of space. I encourage Paddy Wagon to find a more suitable alternative for overflow. Exploring Dingle was a highlight of our trip, and would suggest allowing for additional time in town for exploration. The horse carriage in Killearny National Park and the Black Cab Tour in Belfast were awesome additions. I would strongly suggest doing both, if you’re able. The views in the carriage were stunning, and we learned a lot of history from Keith on our cab tour. I want to highlight how amazing Vincent was. He was authentically himself, and provided us with laughter, humor, tips, and really heightened the experience for us.

Awesome trip (Did it solo)

Karilyn_E, Jul 2024
I cannot recommend this more! I did the 6-day tour on my own and was not sure what to expect but I was blown away at how much we packed into the week and how much I saw and learned about the different parts of the island. I did the economy single and was so happy with the accommodations-all were so good given the price (hotels or B&Bs), so definitely recommend spending that extra to upgrade from the hostels/share option if you can. Last but not least DANNY! I just adored this driver he has such a great easy going personality and sprinkled stories, jokes and music all over each day making the bus portions equally memorable. I hope you’re lucky enough to get him! 🍀

Amazing

Elizabeth_G, Jun 2024
This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide Danny was phenomenal, with great stories and a lot of laughs. We saw so much of this beautiful country and learned a lot about its history along the way. I booked economy single and was nervous about the quality of the rooms that I’d get (I’m a bit of a control freak about cleanliness), but ALL of the B&Bs and hotels were terrific! Do not be concerned about your accommodations. We had a fabulous time in Annascaul where the whole tour bus danced the night away at the local pub. Shout out to Culchie Goes Cool Band and DJ Service for making it a night to remember! If you want to see Ireland in all her glory and you don’t have much time to do it, sign up for this six-day tour. You won’t regret it!!! (If you are lucky, you’ll get Danny as your guide)

Experience the heart and soul of Ireland in 6 days!

Bonnie_F, Jun 2024
This was a magical experience for us, from beginning to end! Our driver (and best guide EVER) was Danny! He went the extra mile to make our trip wonderful! The sites we visited, the history, the places where we stayed, the options for activities during the trip were all beyond compare! There are no words to describe the experience of Ireland that we all had and DANNY played a huge role in our tremendous enjoyment of it all! The pace is good and we got to see and experience SO much! I highly recommend this 6-day tour and even more so if you are lucky enough to have Danny as your guide!

Not worthy

Fritzia_C, Jun 2024
It is not organized. It doesn't follow the itinerary established in the booking. They change buses three times. The second guide didn't explain anything. They do not give you time for lunch and it is too many hours in the bus without any sightseeing or touristic stops.

A little disorganized

Kevin_D, May 2024
Lack of information as to the daily schedule. Switched items to different days which caused backtracking so not efficient. Skipped multiple items listed in the itinerary. First night, Belfast, did not include hot breakfast.

What a great tour

William_C, Feb 2024
Great tour and Gabriel was great funny and could sing a good Irish tune. The tour was rewarding and interesting. I would say one bad thing the weather here is unpredictable so be prepared for rain. Saying that be careful getting on and off the bus. When wet the first 4 stairs onto and off the bus are slippery. Take your time and enjoy all you can hear, taste, see and drink.

Two Thumbs Ip

Emma_C, Sep 2023
This trip was so wonderful. I highly recommend doing the full 6 days. It’s so worth it and having seen some of the other people doing only one day or two, they really missed out. Our driver and guide was Danny, he is very knowledgeable and so personable. He gave us genuine suggestions on what to see and do in areas and places to avoid. It was truly a stress free way to experience Ireland. Only set back is the meeting place for your initial pickup is not marked, so just look for the big green bus and you’ll have a great time!!!

Perfect 6-day Tour

Jeanie_E, Sep 2023
I agreed with Theresa H that there was confusion as to the pick-up point 1st day of the tour which was different from the address given. Good thing, we did a dry run the day before and a nice gentleman told us that the pick-up point is in front of Trinity Church-The Exchange. Our first trip to Ireland after several cancellations due to COVID pandemic. Paddywagon Tours and our excellent driver/storyteller, Danny made our 6-day tour exciting, educational, and memorable! One of my favorite vacations!

Accommodations could have been much better.

THERESA_H, Sep 2023
There was confusion as to the pick up point which was different from the address listed but we were finally able to figure out where the bus was parked (up the street). Our driver Vincent was a lot of fun and he did a great job. We had plenty of time in all of the locations we visited and the tours were good. However, the accommodations were pretty low end with several locations not having elevators to get up stairs and no air conditioning. On day 4 we became sick with Covid and the bus left us in Killarney, which we think they should have at least found a way to get us back to Dublin. No refund for 2 missed days so buy trip insurance. All that being said, Giants Causeway and Cliffs of Moher were fantastic.

Very good tour

LuisManuel_G, Aug 2023
Very good tour. We can know all Ireland, excluding Dublin. Excellent driver and excellent tour guide, all in 1 person: Dany

Fun and Memorable!

Karen_W, Jul 2023
This was our first visit to Ireland! Paddywagon and Danny made our 6-day tour exciting, fun, educational and memorable! What an amazing trip for my daughter, grandson, friends and myself! Danny was not only a safe driver, but a great storyteller! As a travel agent, I’ll be recommending Paddywagon Tours!

Everything's grand

Rene_R, Jul 2023
The tour was excellent. The weather was true Irish weather sunny some days, rainy others. The sites were breathtaking and our tour guide Danny was absolutely amazing. His stories, facts and recommendations throughout the tour were extremely appreciated. Would highly recommend

When Irish Eyes are smiling…

LiyenneGoh, Jun 2023
Having Danny as our driver and guide! He’s thoughtful, highly efficient and a super man at his varied tasks. Great tips he gave us on how to enjoy our Irish experience - stories, food & music. The accommodations are ok but it’s the people - our tour companions and the lovely smiling Irish people - that made the trip for us.

Paddy wagon tours 6 day all Ireland

Pauline_G, Jun 2023
Our tour guide Danny was humorous, knowledgeable and a superb bus driver very considerate of all his clients and very attentive and we couldn’t of had a better time

Best Vacation Ever - Thanks to Paddywagon

Vanessa_L, Mar 2023
Wow, I just have to stay this was the best vacation ever! I booked this trip extremely last minute. I was surprised Paddywagon could accommodate the last minute booking so easily. The communication from them was excellent. Dan was our Driver and Tour Guide. He was an absolute delight! So knowledgeable and professional. He shared so much of Ireland's history and never tired of our group's endless questions. He was probably one of the best tour guide's I have ever had. The tour itself was amazing. We covered all of the best highlight's of Ireland. I read the previous reviews and followed the advice to choose the Economy Single and not Backpacker package. That was the best decision ever! The Hotel accommodations under that package were awesome. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. The Hotel operators were kind and helpful. Honestly, I can't say enough about how happy I am with Paddywagon tours. I would definitely use them again on any future visits.

Paddywagon tour - Good. Viator - Disappointing

Scott_C, Aug 2022
The Bus tour was fine if a bit disorganized. The driver (Dan) for Paddywagon tours did a great job. The issue I had was with Viator. I had booked and received confirmation for a 6 day Ireland rail tour. I then made my flight arrangements based on that tour. The following day, Viator sent me a message saying my tickets for the rail tour were being cancelled and my money was being refunded. I did not request to have my tickets cancelled and I am assuming they overbooked and I was their collateral damage. This unprompted tour cancellation caused me to have to juggle flights and hotels I had already booked causing unnecessary headaches and expenses. I contacted Viator and they said they would help me find an alternative rail tour. However, they booked me for a bus tour instead. While the bus tour with Paddywagon was fine, it was not what I had requested of Viator. I won't book through Viator again.

Perfect Ireland Experience

Katy_R, Jul 2022
Hands down the best trip I've been on. This was my first time traveling solo internationally, and I wanted to do a group tour as to ease myself into this unfamiliar setting. Dan was our guide, and he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable by answering all of my questions and providing exact instructions for every part of the 6-day tour. The accommodations were excellent, the bus was comfortable, and this experience gave me the confidence to plan more solo trips around the world. I am still astounded by how much we were able to fit in a mere six days, and I learned so much about Ireland on this trip. 10/10 would (and have already) recommend to friends, and it was an experience I'll never forget.

Great experience making...

Kristin_P, May 2022
Great experience making friends while seeing the sights of Ireland. So much more convenient than a self drive.

Ireland in a nutshell tour - best way to explore the country

Selestina, Sep 2021
It was a wonderful 6 day tour! I would do it again if I can, with the same itinerary, guide/driver and group of people. Very nicely organized, some days were busy visiting sights, hikes or a walking tours, but other days were less busy and we had time to explore the towns alone, get some souvenir, have some quiet time at the beach or have a meditation at a cathedral. It's the best way to get a taste of the whole country in 6 days. Our guide/driver, Alex, is simply an excellent one! An eloquent story/history teller. He knows how to capture our attention. He tells stories in ways that was easy to understand. I chose Hostel accommodation. The hostels were quite OK, except the Sleepzone hostel in Galway. A 9 m2 room for 5 mix-gender people is a bit crowded. Killarney hostel was nice/clean except no breakfast. The best was the stay in Annascaul. We had the whole house to ourselves! Highlights: Cliffs of Moher, Giant's Causeway, Wild Atlantic Way, Dingle Peninsula, Slea Head Drive and sheep encounter. In terms of towns, I liked Killarney the best. I highly recommend this tour to anybody: young and old, couples or solo travelers.

Perfect!

Curiosity597257, Oct 2019
It is rare for a tour to be perfect, I know, but if you are lucky enough to have Brian as your Paddywagon guide and driver, you will have the time of your life! Everything is done for you - accommodations, picturesque stops and very enjoyable activities. Every day of the tour far exceeded my expectations and created some of the happiest memories of my life. Thank you, Brian, for making this beautiful, vibrant country three-dimensional with your detailed commentary! Your good humour and positive attitude were appreciated by everyone on the tour. If you are considering a Paddywagon tour, you will not be disappointed! I am thinking of doing another one! Thanks again!

Awesome Tour ! Great Craic!

Deb B, Oct 2019
Well organised. Great tour guide, Brian, very knowledgeable & entertaining. Comfortable accommodation. Fun group of travellers. Good balance of free time at all sights & stops. Would throughly recommend.

Great guide tour from paddywagon.

Ember8899, Jul 2019
Brian make sure all of us have a good vacation. He told us Ireland history and news. He bring us to many places that is incredible. But if you not a person that can stand along for noisy and vomit sound in the night from your group, make sure you choose economy instead of backpack. Backpack rooms like squize all people inside one room and the room really small. If you have enough budget then get economy, at least you can have good sleep in night. The tour bring me to places stated, due to time constraint, all places will only give less time to visit. Understand guide need to make sure he bring us to all place but really rush. I have to run at cliff of moher from south to east within 1 hour.

Beautiful country. Great driver.

TrailBlazer398286, Jul 2019
We had a wonderful time on the tour. Family of 4. Loved the driver Rory. We took the B&B option. The PaddyWagon owned location was really nice. Probably a 3 star property. The other B&Bs were clean but the beds were really old and definitely needed to be replaced. Loved the other bus mates. Would travel on another Paddy Wagon adventure.

A great way to see Ireland!

Randall_M, May 2019
Brian was an amazing, considerate, and thoughtful guide with loads of info. He made the tour very enjoyable. Aside from one room, in Belfast, the accommodations and breakfasts were delightful. We would recommend.
