Unforgettable experience

Janette_S, Jun 2023
Driver Dan was great and very relaxed answering all questions. Fortunately the weather was fantastic and as the group was small everything was easy and manageable

The tour went out of order from what was advertised, and we ended up spending a lot more time on the bus, and not enjoying the beautiful scenery and towns.

6 Day Southern Ireland Tour

Michele_D, Oct 2019
Barry was a great tour guide for our 6 day tour. On the last day we had Jackie who helped out and was also incredibly generous and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time and the places we stopped were absolutely beautiful.

Awesome

Sue_V, Oct 2019
This tour was great, awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable of the whole area and places we visited. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, first timers or return visitors looking for a leisurely trip without the hassle of self driving.

Excellent

Our driver and guide Barry made the tour for most of us. He was full of anecdotes and drove very well. The bed and breakfast hotels were good and clean. The rest of the group were lots of fun.

Amazing 6-day tour with Barry!

Karen_C, Oct 2018
I would highly recommend this fabulous 6-day tour of Southern Ireland! We saw too many sights, vistas and castles to count! We wouldn't have seen half on our own... We had perfect weather, not a drop of rain! We met lovely new friends from around the globe (US, South Africa, Canada, The Philippines and of course, Ireland!) By far our tour guide Barry made the trip. His expertise, knowledge of Ireland and funny antidotes were the highlight! These are memories we will treasure forever!

Kathi_M, May 2018
There were 9 people in our party ranging from 26 - 80 years in age. This trip was a great fit for all of us. We truly enjoyed this and especially our Tour Guide, Brian. He made you feel like we were all family. The bed and breakfast where we stayed were quaint but ended up being great for us. We really enjoyed the intimacy of the B and B's and enjoyed sitting around in the evening going over our daily itinerary. This was our first trip to Ireland and Paddy Wagon Tours did an exceptional job. Everyone in our party said it was the best trip ever!! Please extend our gratitude to Bryan and all the Paddy Wagon Staff for making this special trip for our Mom the one that was 80 something to truly remember. If anyone is questioning if Paddy Wagon is the way to travel do not hesitate and book today. Sincerely, Kathi Murphy and Family

Michelle P, Oct 2017
We took the economy option and were really pleased with the accommodation. We were a bit worried as my mum and I are a bit older than Paddy wagons reported target group. How wrong we were, the group contained early twenties to late 60s, from the uk to USA, canada and Australia and both budget and economy. Thanks to our driver/guide,Shaun, it was like wed all always been friends. Shaun certainly made a nice tour into a fantastic one, he had a great way to tell us about the history or significance of a stop or the area we were driving through. I would definitely recommend this tour to any of my friends but I might also suggest they look at the 9 day tour which also goes to Northern Ireland.

I this the space in which I am to write the review. I loved the journey from the very moment it started. I was amazed by Malcomb our guide. He was so totally prepared to show us a marvelous time and was so well informed as well. Our bus was just the right size...I hate those big buses. He did change the order of the cities we visited...We started off in Cork, and according to the schedule I saw on the internet that was to be our last stop. Nevertheless...the entire journey was a blessing, and I am ready to return to Ireland,,,We had terrific weather...no one could believe how sunny and warm it was...said usually rain interfered with so much. We were all so happy even to the very end..Some of the group when on to the 12 day tour..we stopped at Galway and another guide took us back to Dublin. I do not think we ever got a photo of the entire group..otherwise I would send it...nothing but a lovely memory now. The hostels never had a chair which I found strange..Next time, I think I would choose a bed and breakfast.

Highly recommended, our tour driver...

Highly recommended, our tour driver Joe was amazing. Picked up every day from our accomodation all great locations, with fantastic full Irish breakfast. Comfortable new bus, plenty of space with wifi. Joe was very knowledgable and friendly, shared a lot of amazing stories that made the trip fantastic.

Excellent in every part of the trip...

Excellent in every part of the trip. Tour guide, and bus driver Brian Kerwin, was entertaining and factual. Lots of fun!

This trip was good. Our schedule...

MumthaB_S, Jul 2016
This trip was good. Our schedule was changed a little so we missed seeing Ring of Cary since the day our guide chose got rained on!! The guide was good but rude at times and used foul language at times. Since most of the people on the bus were women it was not appreciated.

Poor customer service by driver: 1...

KathleenR_W, May 2016
Poor customer service by driver: 1 driver never left his seat to help with luggage or to direct to B and B. The male passengers on tour had to unload van.. Driver did not assist passenger who tripped and fell out of van close to a busy street. 2 driver consistently tailgates, exceeded speed limits and passed multiple cars/busses on narrow roads 3passengers had to ask repeatidly ask for Ac to be turned on while he had his window open. 4 driver gave minimal dialogue and did not give assistance in planning for the day. On the last day of the tour there was a different driver. While he was very friendly , he had to be asked to stop texting while driving after we almost went over the median. Participants should be warned in advance that B and Bs may require carrying luggage up several flights of stairs with no assistance. Would not recommend this tour.

Paul C, May 2016
Rory our driver was fantastic, humorous and informative . It. would have received a 5 star rating except that in several cases we were not all together in the same B and B and some of the locations were on 3rd floors with no elevators. I would highly recommend at the strip for visitors especially those areas that drive on the right hand side of the road
