The Waterfalls and the staff that worked as tour guides were fantastic. We didn’t have such a great experience with our taxi driver, however. Initially told us that he would charge us $20 per person for a ride and when we got to our destination he insisted that we had agreed to $30 per person. All of us were in his van heard him say $20 per person. He blatantly lied his name was Rigo. If you get him make him write down the fare amount prior to using the services..

If I could give 10 stars I would - this was the best excursion!!!! Right off the ship - easy walk and found our guide. We were off about a 15 min drive! They offered us a 3rd option before we arrived and it was amazing! We used the entire day to zip line, waterfall, and dune buggy!!! Best day of our cruise!
First arrive and getting fitted up - hike up for 45 min (5 min DR time) with breaks. We ziplined 7x it was great and we went fast down the lines! Always felt safe. Then we got to the waterfalls/slides…water is deep and chilly but wonderful!!! We walked through caves and went down multiple slides, last we jumped 20 feet! It was scary to me but jumped eventually. My family LOVED IT! The entire time we had our own personal paparazzi! Photos and videos of everything was very reasonable. They really took every opportunity to get the perfect picture through the entire excursion. Last we ate a chicken, rice, and veggie lunch.
Our added dune buggy fun was at a different location and close to the ship. It was more than I expected - the mud was wet and warm and was hilarious! We had 2 buggies - (2pp and 3pp). We all got real dirty and had a blast. We saw horses, chickens, cows, and stopped at a little shop to try mommajuana and yummy chocolate and coffee. We cleaned off at the shop and then again on a secluded beach where you can see the ship. It was very cool! We were back and bought our pics and videos again from “paparazzi” it was great.
Don’t bring your phones! You don’t need them.
Loved it and made it to the ship in plenty of time!!! What a blast for the 5 of us….48/47/25/22/19 years young.

Our taxi driver to waterfall name was Augusta and he was very nice he helped us out once we got there. The zip line was fun and waterfall was refreshing and great my family loved it. The hike up the mountain is moderate activity you do stop frequently just need to take your time. Recommend for photos to have a water proof case but beware you could loose it during activity. Also water shoes are a must if you don’t have appropriate shoes you will need to rent them.

Thank you for the inconvenient but I always told you 30 maybe you don't hear well but you can write to me by mail I will refund the 30 dollars to charge you the 30 dollars it was not my intention but it was a deal before taking you to the beach since you reserve the waterfall no bone silver if you wanted to go Beach wing was an extra price. and honest and lasts the whole day with you but I never charge you more until I confirm it to you and you told me that if you excuse me for the inconvenience you can call or write me and I will refund the money

The guides were very helpful when climbing the hills and going down the waterfalls encouraging people to go at their pace. The trees and water are just beautiful. The 35 minute walk up the hill is not easy -they let us stop every 5 minutes. So glad I went. It’s a beautiful, fun memorable experience. I don’t recommend for anyone with back or walking up hills.

Our booking was with local operator, Rigo, and his brother, Lionel. Rigo took great care of us and we had great conversations on the way to the falls about the island. At the falls he took care of our bags and we headed down the trail with our guide, Eddy. Eddy was a fantastic guide, helping us through the more difficult falls and coming back to coach us how to get through the tough spots. He took pics with our phones. This was a great excursion I would recommend to anyone in reasonably good shape.
