This trip is a must do. But at a young age. My husband and I breath when we got to the 7 color mountain. That's no one's fault. But it is amazing.

Perfect, Complete Day at Rainbow Mountain

Everything about this tour is great. The very early morning pick up is worth it! Our group took a nap during the van ride to the Rainbow Mountain area (about 3 hours). The hot breakfast and lunch buffets were delicious. The ATV rides were awesome. They take time to teach you how to operate the ATVs and ensure you are a safe driver before hitting the trail. We were mostly prepared for the cold, but the wind while driving ATV can make temperature even lower so plan accordingly with thick gloves, hat, scarf, mask, etc… Visibility of the mountain varies. However, there is a lot happening at the viewpoint with llamas, alpacas, and other things to photograph. They also sell warm drinks and snacks at the viewpoint. As for hiking/walk, the last leg of the incline to get to the highest point is pretty steep, but manageable if you pace yourself. We saw Red Valley from the top. The second half of the excursion is an ATV ride to a more private valley where you see many alpacas and llamas grazing. Notably, you will not know your exact pick up time until the evening before your tour. I think everyone is picked up between the 3am-4am window. Our pick up time was 3:45am and they communicated this through What’s app the day before. Highly recommend!

Communication could be better

The company does not communicate very well with the guides and we were picked up way earlier than when we were supposed to be at 4 AM. We also had to send the address we needed to be picked up at about 10 times to several different people in the company and they still went to the wrong place. After all the chaos, it was a great time and we all enjoyed Rainbow Mountain a lot! It was a quick ride up the mountain on the ATVS and there was breakfast and lunch provided as well.

TERRIBLE, never take this tour, the tour was at 4 am and they wrote to me the day before at 9 pm to tell me they were picking me up at 2:50 am, they had moved it to 3 am. The car LOUSY condition, had no air and had to go with legs almost hugged to be able to sit and I am 1.60 cm tall not to fit in a mini van, zero explanations of the mountain and the bike was bad, I had to tell my boyfriend to drive it because it has an internal fault that does not even allow to put the changes.
