Excellent way to get from Cusco to Ollantaytambo

We booked this experience so that we can be transported from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, leaving the tour group when they leave for Pisaq. If the tour bus is full, it can get squeezy. Jose Manuel was a very attentive guide that switches between English and Spanish. He took care of us very well despite us being the only English speakers in the group. Recommended.

Reuben was our tour guide and Jose our driver. Reuben gave great detail of all the sites and was friendly and professional. The stops were breathtaking and lunch very impressive. The booking process and pick ip details were easy and all had good communication. It is a long long day packed with lots of adventures and historical sites, you learn a lot about the Inca culture. Couldn’t recommend enough. Only note is if you are looking to explore the sites for longer for shops or markets it’s better to book over the two days.

This tour is great, as Eddie, our excellent bilingual guide said, it is really two tours in one day, we saw all the architectural sites in the sacred valley area in one day! I didn't really feel rushed, despite the number of places we went. Alex our excellent driver got us everywhere on time, and they both made sure we were getting to places when it wasn't peak tourist time, excellent tour! If you want to see mostly architectural sites rather than being taken to various shopping locations (which was also in this tour) go with this tour. Eddie was excellent and gave at least equal time to the 5 English speakers in our tour, and was always open to answering our question, and his English is great! He has even written a book on Cusco, so he knows his stuff. They really go the extra mile, I left my wallet in the tour van, and after panicking for a half hour Alex actually drove to my hotel to return my wallet, WOW, amazing, definitely go on this tour, top notch!
