Amazing scenery. The tour was well organised, punctual and the guide Jose and driver Oscar were very professional. Highly recommend this day trip. Do give yourself time to climatise beforehand though.

    Amazing scenery. The tour was well organised, punctual and the guide Jose and driver Oscar were very professional. Highly recommend this day trip. Do give yourself time to climatise beforehand though.

    Tough but excellent trip!

    The tour was well organised. Carlos, the manager, gave detailed information days before the tour, including how to deal with high altitude sickness, dropping a bottle of water and a small bottle of herbal liquid for sniffing. Picking up time was punched. When arrived at the car park, I was given a walking stick. The tour guide was very good. She accompanied us to go to the top and took photos for us. Because of the high altitude sickness, I lost my appetite and felt unwell. The following-up tips from Carlos were really helpful.

    The tour starts early in...

    The tour starts early in the morning and long, bumpy ride to the mountain, but well worth it. It is a beautiful mountain. There are locals with horses available on the trail for those suffering altitude. Our guide was very friendly and made sure everyone was doing okay going up the trail to the mountain.

    A bit of a difficult hike...

    A bit of a difficult hike - not because of the distance, but the altitude, but that's about the mountain itself. The tour and the organizers took care of everything as best as possible. The food was great, pick-up on time, company great. Would go back 100%!

    Lovely day out

    Lovely day out albeit most of it was spent in the van travelling. Our guide was fluent in Spanish and English which helped massively. Didn’t realise how much of a tourist hot spot the actual Rainbow mountain was, but the views around it were arguably even better.

    If you are visiting Cusco, this is a must!!! Very inexpensive, yet has so much value. The tour guide waited for us the entire way up the mountain, then he took great pictures.

    It was a good trip. We rent horses to completed first part of Rainbow Mountain claiming and then claiming about half hour to the top of the mountain at high leverage 5030. We were happy to complted the trip. The tour guide helped us on renting horses.

    Cold but worth it

    All in all a great time! Everything was on time and managed very well. The pick up was at 4 am and after picking up several others headed to breakfast (about 1.5 hours away) at 6:30am. We were at the mountain at approximately 7:30ish and were able to rent horses. The hike up is about 2 miles very small incline. The last 15-20 min is stairs up (take your time) as horses can’t go up this way. The weather is very unpredictable and we were in a snow wonderland the whole time. Thankfully we were still able to see the colors of the mountain but it was very very cold! Take warm layers. We did not use the horses on the walk back as it was fairly easy hike down. Afterwards, we stopped for a lunch buffet at the same breakfast stop. Our guide (Americo) and driver (Clever) were awesome. Very patient and enthusiastic with the group.

    Awesome experience, be prepared for the 17,000 foot elevation. Great guide and you can rent a horse to get you there if needed

    私は61歳、週に2日1.5マイル走って筋トレして体力維持につとめています。しかし、4000mを超える高地では歩くだけでも息が上がりました。「歩くと1時間、馬だと25分で山頂から10分下のところまでいける。」と聞き馬を使いました。 正解でした。 最後の10分の登りも大変でしたが、苦労した甲斐があり山頂からの景色は最高でした。
