Incredible experience Really well organized by Heidi - everything went smoothly and as planned Our guide for Machu Picchu, Ronal, was very knowledgeable and an amazing photographer who shared his beautiful photos with us Our only comment is that you will arrive in the local village early enough to visit Machu Picchu in the afternoon to see the sunset - wished we’d seen that

Disgusting accommodations

Our guide was fantastic. If it wasn't for him, it would receive 2 stars. We were very unhappy with the accommodations in Aguas Caliente. There was mold all over the bathroom, stains on the sheets, and hair in the sheets. We asked twice for the linens to be changed and they did not improve. I felt an overall feeling of disgust. The upgrade in the ticket we purchased for the train was unimpressive and not worth the money. Machu picchu was, of course, incredible. We paid extra for the private guide and this was well worth the money.

Great Company with an Awesome Owner

I cannot say enough about how great Heidi Travel is! We had made a reservation with a different company who canceled on us the day before we were arranged to leave (looking at you Machu Picchu USA). In a panic, we tried desperately to find another company who could get us into Machu Picchu on a two-day notice. This is where Heidi worked her magic. Her and I arranged to combine our Machu Picchu tour with a Sacred Valley tour, which we planned on taking later in our vacation anyway. She booked those tours together (staying in Ollaytantambo instead of returning to Cusco in order to begin our Machu Picchu tour) and arranged a hotel pickup for us for the following morning. Throughout the night and the following day, she arranged our train to Aguas Calientes, the hotel there in town, the bus to and from Machu Picchu, as well as our entrance tickets to the park. It was an absolute miracle! She was also kind enough to send messages to me throughout the day checking in on us and giving me updates on her progress. I'm not sure how she was able to put it all together on such short notice, but my wife and I are forever grateful! I assume many of the companies that take tours to Machu Picchu are pretty similar, and I cannot speak for the others. But if you are looking for a company whose owner will work hard to ensure you have a great time, please look no further than Heidi Travel. If she can do all of that on an impossibly short timeline, then I imagine that a trip properly planned ahead of time would be flawless.

Heidi was super helpful organising this trip. After booking this trip, we contacted her to get an upgrade of the train to a vistadome carriage and she was able to sort that for us without any issues. She was also able to meet us in Cuzco and explain our trip, even upgrade us to have a tour of the sacred valley the day before! In addition, she managed to secure a discount for a Moras and Moray trip for us too (highly recommend). The whole trip went smoothly and she was there every step of the way. I encourage anyone who has any questions about the booking, including booking huaynapichu (difficult optional hike at machu Picchu) to contact Heidi after booking

Tour was great! They were very communicative and helpful and made sure to arrange everything how we requested. The guides were great, the drivers picked us up at our hotel. They were always right on time and everything was safe and amazing. Would totally recommend to everyone!
