Good tour, long long day if you're staying in Cusco

Too much for one day. About 5 hours each way to/from Cusco. Maybe stay in Aguas Caliente or Ollayantytambo. Not enough time to have lunch in Aguas Caliente (we made it to the appetizers then had to leave before lunch even arrived). Great tour guide in Machu Picchu. To a large extent the tour is nothing more than arranged group transportation (not people on same tour), then a private guide at Machu Picchu. It was valuable and nice not having to figure all the variety of transportation out independently.
