The view was amazing but I was not prepared for how long and taxing the hike was. The elevation makes it difficult obviously but it takes a good 2hrs. Plus I signed up for the English tour, however the rest of my group spoke Spanish. Freddy the tour guide did a GREAT job trying to include me and was very knowledgeable however was not the day I expected.

Breakfast and lunch were both excellent. We are both vegan and there was plenty for us to eat. Bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer and water bottles. It went from sunny to rainy to sunny several times. Be prepared for all of it: T-shirt and sweater and raincoat and umbrella and good hiking boots. Love the aqua blue color of glacier lake!

Caminho difícil de fazer, extremamente cansativo mas vale a pena chegar lá. Péssimo tratamento dos homens que alugam cavalos para a subida. Tratam mal as pessoas, impacientes e grosseiros, para nós foi constrangedor.

Todo estuvo muy claro desde el recogido hasta dejarnos en el hotel ... un camino largo pero todo es como a 3 horas de cusco ...las mejores fotos fueron en este lago... tienen caballos para subir los cuales yo utilize para la subida...
