Worth it to go private

Amazing! Our guide Rafael was wonderful. Rafael had a fabulous attitude and good English. I got a little car sick on the curvy mountain road and probably wouldn’t have made it up the mountain without him. The pick up time may seem early but 4am pickup coupled with a great driver got us there before the crowds.

The experience was good, I’m giving it three stars because: 1. the entrance fee is not included. It’s 20 soles per person, yes it is not much, it’s about $ 5.00. I have booked other activities in other countries where the entrance is already included 2. The breakfast was great, but lunch doesn’t include water, I feel that water should at least be included. 3. We stayed in Urubamba, we had to pay an extra $90.00 dollars to get picked up from Urubamba. 4. You have to pay an extra 80 soles, about $ 21 dollars to rent the horse to take you up the hill each way!!! ( I recommend it). This should be included or buy it as an option in this package. Total: I ended up paying an extra $ 73. 00 per person top of the 110.00 for the package. Not including the tip. Our your guide was great!

On time and very professional service. Guide was with us for 3 hours difficult hike and helped us through it. Vehicle was 7 seater and very specious. Driver was very safe and professional. Will be happy to recommend this service to all friends visiting Cusco.

Our guides were so kind and the horses were well worth the Sol. The lake really is as beautiful as the pictures. The food was delicious! I really can not recommend our guide, Jenkins, enough. We are so glad we spent the day there.

100/10 Yesyes it was excellent, at all times it was attentive and helped us to have the best experience avoiding crowds and I take the best pictures of our whole trip. Going on a private tour is the best way to see Humantay we return back to Cusco at an excellent time.
