Great day with Louise

We had a wonderful day with Louise! She picked us up near our hotel in Heraklion She is a wealth of information and communicates well. We had a wonderful stop in Agios Nikolaos, then along the coast and then again to Spinalonga. She knew so much about the history and the local culture. Louise recommended a wonderful spot for lunch along the coast overlooking the water and Spinalonga. This was a great way to see the area without having to drive ourselves and also learn the history of the area. She showed us local places and gave us recommendations for dinner in Heraklion.

Our Tour guide Luisa was an amazing beautiful person, she was very knowledge guide, she stopped at all the picturesque spots along the way, she suggested an delightful restaurant in Plaka with a view to die for, the grilled Calamari was the best I have ever had,

Such a great experience. The scenery was stunning. My guide was very knowledgable and really took time to make it my trip. Private was the way to go for me. The olive oil factory was super fun too. And getting to taste all the various oils. So much better than store bought. Spinalonga was an incredible place too. So much history. Do this trip. You won’t regret it.

The best day has by all

Wow what a fantastic day we had! First of all Tania is simply one of the loveliest people you can ever meet, and is friendly, attentive and it very much felt like we were being shown around by a family member (in the best way). Super knowledgeable and seeing as I love history and the Greek myths, Tania took the time to explain a lot of things and places to us which was so interesting. The island is beautiful and Tania showed us some great landmarks. We also went to Spinalonga Island which was very cool and has an interesting backstory albeit a little sad. We also visited the olive oil factory which we loved as we had one of the members of staff privately taking us around and showing us the process from 2000yrs back to present day, and partial to a bit of shopping i of course purchased a few things :) We also managed to find a little time to visit a lovely little beach so my little one could enjoy the waves and really had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour with Tania, she goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and enjoying your day and she will tailor make some of the day for you if there’s a special or specific place you’d like to see. We had a fabulous time with our guide, Taïna. From the first 5 minutes in the minibus Taïna was finding out our interests in order to personalise the tour to us. We had a quick stop at a monastery en route that was not planned, and even stopped on the side of the road to look and smell the local herbs and flowers. Spinalonga was great, Taïna left us to visit this ourselves but gave us alot of background and stories surrounding the island both before and after the visit. She recommended a fantastic restaurant in Plaka and we ate delicious fresh fish. The olive factory was fantastic and if only our suitcases were big enough to take more home! Thank you so much Taïna.
