Leonidas was a wonderful guide for our tour and very accommodating to our interests and preferences and provided lots of context for each stop. We ended up seeing all of the listed spots (plus one additional) and also had a lovely lunch. The shuttle bus was very comfortable. I would recommend this tour!

If you want to get away from the cruise port and experience more of the west coast of Crete this is the tour for you. In a short seven hour port stop we were able to see a honey farm, spend time at 3 different beaches and view the Agia Sofia Cave. Leonidas and his team do a great job.

A must do. Company picked us up right at our home. Friendly driver with lots of area detail and knowledge. We were able to customize our day. We had two vans that were clean and provided us with water. The views you experience during the drive were speechless. Staf never made is feel rushed at any stop.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible day exploring Crete with our guide! He was extremely accommodating for our family, especially when it came to the needs of our kids, which made the experience enjoyable and relaxed for everyone. He took us to so many beautiful places we never would have discovered on our own and shared a ton of knowledge about the island, its history, and local culture along the way. His friendliness, hospitality, and professionalism were outstanding, truly a 10/10 experience. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable, and he was a safe, confident driver which made the day even more enjoyable. Spectacular beach and wonderful lunch

If you love crystal clear blue ocean water this is the tour for you. Our guide picked us up at the ship and stopped at a few areas along the way. We went to a honey production shop and then he stopped at some other historic places. The island is very mountainous and if you don’t do well with winding roads this tour is not for you. Once we arrived at Elephasani beach, it was a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the water. Just a warning, but it was worth it. He then took us to a restaurant in the mountains where we had the best chicken Slouvaki of the trip.

Exploring Crete and it's finests

Jordan came to pick us up from port. He was a great driver and told of so many fascinating facts. The beach was incredible, although it was super windy. We stopped by a cave that was used as a look out tour thousands of years ago. We leaned about the Orthodox Monks a d finished the day with great Greek food at a local resturant. Would definitely use this company again.

Fabulous day trip in Crete!!!

This was a phenomenal trip! Our driver was wonderful and informative, stopping to show us things, took us to a “secret” beach that we enjoyed even more than Elafonisi. We had a great time at the cave and had the most wonderful lunch in a nearby village. Would definitely recommend!

Very good tour

It’s basically a taxi ride to the cave and beaches. The cave was cool. It’s 257 stairs to the top so be prepared. The Elafonisi beach was beautiful but barely any pink. It was a bit of a walk to the beach itself. We went to Kedrodasos Beach next but a lot more walking to the actual beach so we didn’t go. Our guide did take us to a small, local beach which was very nice. Lunch was at a nice, local place. I gave it a 4 because our guide did not speak English well. And it was like a taxi ride, no information about Greece or the island. Plus it was a small SUV and very tight with 4 adults The places we visited were great, though.

Breathtaking pink sand beach

The Crete Wanderer was very accommodating to our group and we so enjoyed him stopping for us to take photos along the road to the Pink Sand Beach. He also found a great place for us to stop and eat dinner on the way back the Chania.

Do not recommend - we should get a refund.

Our tour guide did not speak English. He could not tell us where we would be going during this tour. The car was too small for four adults. He stopped at several unsafe locations that concerned our group. Then he went to a cave that we did know or discuss. We had requested to go back to rental and he went to cave????? The car was so uncomfortable for the long ride. I would not recommend this trip.

As for the tour itself, it is a custom experience, which means that the itinerary is flexible and based on your preferences. The driver makes suggestions based on what you’ve indicated, but ultimately, it’s up to you to decide the places you wish to visit. We apologize for any confusion regarding the destinations. The cave visit was included in your itinerary, and we’re sorry if this wasn’t clearly communicated. Regarding the vehicle, the Skoda Karoq (2019) is considered a midsize SUV in Greece, designed for comfort on the roads. If additional space was a priority, we do offer a minivan option for a slightly higher price. We understand that comfort during the long drive is important, and we regret that the vehicle didn’t meet your expectations. However, the Skoda Karoq is generally well-suited for the needs of most guests. Regarding the roads, the route to Elafonisi is known for its narrow stretches with a few wider points where cars can stop and park. What may have seemed unsafe to you is actually a commonly used stop for visitors in Greece. However, we take your feedback seriously and will ensure that future drivers remain particularly cautious when stopping at these points. This tour is a scam

The tour operator sent his father to give us the tour but unfortunately he didn’t speak any English nor did he know the itinerary so he couldn’t tell us about anything we saw. At one point he asked me where I wanted to go because he didn’t know where he was supposed to take us. It was so terrible that we just cut the tour short. What’s even worse is that I requested a refund through Viator but the tour operator is denying the request. This tour is a complete scam.

Beaches of Crete

We had a wonderful day exploring the more remote scenery of Crete away from Chania. Experienced multiple beaches with a knowledgeable local guide. Beautiful drive and scenery with a good variety of beaches in southern /western Crete. We enjoyed the water, nature and views. Our guide was very friendly and brought us to the beaches, waiting for us at each to pick us up when we were ready to go. Made it easy to avoid the stress of driving and parking. Good way to get a taste of the beaches if you like to see a bit of everything.

Magical beach and Village tour with Leonides

Fantastic trip with Leonides and brother Jordan .Travelled to Falassarna beach and Elafonissi beach as well as Paleochora Village .Leonides gave both my husband and I a great insight into Cretan life and gave us lots of suggestions as to what to do. Everything we did was in our time and we’re never pressured. They even asked us what music we liked and played it. We would highly recommend them and this tour to anyone. Lisa

The beaches were lovely. You get a good amount of time at Elafonisi. The town of Palaiochora is quaint and picturesque, but be forewarned that if you go in the off-season, almost everything will be closed after noon. Plan to bring snacks because it is difficult to find any restaurants open, and there is no set lunch time built into the itinerary. Leonidas is a very good driver and a kind guide. He will stop for you to take photos at good locations along the way, and he shares a lot of good information with you during the drive.
