Beautiful hike any time of year!

What a beautiful hike! Pari is an experienced and enthusiastic guide, and we were in great hands. We learned interesting things about the land, the gorge and its history, and also about the native plants and how they are used for food and medicine. But mostly, we just enjoyed the scenery and beautiful sights of the Imbros Gorge. The walk is quite easy, almost entirely downhill (at a gentle incline). Still, wear good shoes for the sometimes slippery/wobbly stones. I was really happy to be doing this hike during the winter season, because it is very busy in the summer; instead we had the entire place to ourselves, and the weather was perfect!
