Great Ruins tour with Jhoana. We loved it.

Our guide was Jhoana. They send a video and a google pin. Use the google pin it was much simpler to get to the meet-up point which is about a 10 minute walk. This company works with a few drivers. It was very interesting, they use taxi's. Our taxi driver and his car fit 5 of us spaciously. The drive to the ruins is about 1 hour on a good road. Jhoana during the travel time gave us history and facts and answered our questions. At the site, you are given their guide. The ruins guide are certified with their id displayed. I asked the ruins guide for a tour geared for an 8 year old. Since my niece was in the group. I needed it to be engaging and fun and not heavily detailed. And the ruins guide did a wonderful job. It was so kids friendly. My niece learned a lot. Our kid friendly tour on site lasted about an hour (normal tours are closer to two hours) and Jhoana never leaves your side. We tipped the ruins guide very well since it was a fun tour for everyone. At the ruins were were happy we brought bug spray. On the way back Jhoana asked if we wanted to stop at a fruits stand. It was nice to have the offer to taste local fruits but we said no. We didn't want any stops and we drove straight to the pier. We felt safe and comfortable with the driver and Jhoana. The total travel time of 2 hours few by because Jhoana made it so interesting. We enjoyed the entire tour. Jhoana sends a text in the morning to let you know she is at the port and gives you the local time. She gets to the port super early. For us Local time and Ship time were different and not in our favour. Our tour time was set for 10am but Jhoana is there when the ship gets in. So we changed the time to start at 9:15AM. It's nice to have this cushion. I recommend this company. Our family had a great time and we loved the experience.

Jhoana was a wonderful guide! She did a great job giving us background on the Mayan culture and the history of Chacchoben Ruins. Hugo was a wonderful driver and got us quickly to and from the cruise port to the ruins.

What a great excursion! Our guide Charlie was AMAZING! Made us feel so welcome and kept everything fun filled and safe! Stopped at a roadside market for some of the most fresh pineapple and mango we’ve ever had! I 10 out of 10 recommend choosing this excursion and Charlie!

The tour to the ruins was great! So nice having a private tour for all of family. The vans were air conditioned and comfortable. Israel was great to work with. I was able to reach out to him a few days before the tour with questions, and on the day of the tour to let him know we were running a little bit behind schedule. The tour itself was nice! We loved seeing the ruins and the surrounding jungle area with all the monkeys. I would recommend it!
