This was an incredible experience and got to see a couple of big pandas up close. As you probably know, it gets VERY crowded as soon as a panda is spotted. We went in October and the crowds weren’t too bad. Make sure you go early, ideally at opening time to avoid lining up. Make sure you pre book your ticket. You don’t need a tour. Don’t expect to see pandas everywhere. We only saw 2 big ones and a couple of babies. And be patient, it’s a big place and may need to walk for a while before you see one but it’s a beautiful park to walk around. Plenty of food pls es and toilets

Basically a rip off - paid for the ticket entrance and glorified taxi journey and nothig else. No English guide, no instructions in English. Just left to fend for yourself.
