Overview

While many tours make short visits to Mount Etna’s Silvestri Craters, this one explores all facets of the volcano, from rim trails to eastern viewpoints and a beekeeping farm. After pickup from Catania, head to the Silvestri Craters, where you can opt for a cable car ride to higher elevations (own expense). Continue to Etna’s southeastern crater, and hike to the top of Monte Zoccolaro. Visit a honey farm for honey, olive oil, and wine tastings before returning to Catania.

It is not worth the price. Basically what you get is a private transfer to the base of mount etna where you take the cable car, which is not included in the price. You are also asked to look for the agency that better suits you to take the cable car. If you pay additionally 2 euros to the normal price, you can skip the cue. Then you need to pay additionally for the bus transfers. The driver was very friendly, drove extremely well and stopped in several places, but he is not a guide.
