Satisfying Experience

I traveled alone and don't speak Spanish very well. I had a guide, Tito, who translated everything and looked after me the whole day, he was knowledgeable and awesome. The trip was very good, bit of a long bus ride to and from. Easy hotel pick up. The snorkeling was the best part, the mangroves was very brief and not a canoe as advertised. The beach is nicer than the ones near the city but it was difficult to fully relax when you are constantly attacked by people selling things. Food was good and had no issues with it, I wanted more fruit because they were so good. Overall a very good experience, just a few issues that aren't specifically due to the tour itself, still recommend.

unsafe activity

The boat that took us out snorkeling did not have a swim ladder or swim step to get back in the boat from the water. They didn't tell us this before we jumped in. They attempted to have people stand on their shoulders and or be pulled into the boat. This was unacceptable and unsafe. I ended up badly cutting my hand on a rusty screw. The cut got infected and I had to find medical treatment when a red line went from my hand to my elbow (blood poisoning). My friends ended up with bruises on their legs due to being pulled roughly in to the boat. The men running the boat were very unconcerned about the problem or our injuries. This tour operator should not be allowed on Viator/trip advisor. I will be booking my tours with a company that has safety requirements for the tour companies they advertise.

Playa blanca es un lugar muy concurrido, desde allí sale el bote hacia una zona en q es posible hacer snorkel. Hay muchos peces de colores!! E incluyen fotos del paseo y bajo el agua, sin costo extra. El almuerzo delicioso, Rubén un gran anfitrión! Un verdadero gusto conocerlo
