We booked a jet ski for one hour, after 30-40mins the gas was empty. It wasn't refilled. That's why we were quite disappointed.

We would like to clarify that the jet ski was fully fueled before your activity. These jet skis are equipped with a rental time control system. When the reserved time is close to ending, the jet ski displays a warning on the screen and automatically reduces power.
This safety feature is sometimes mistaken for low fuel, but the fuel level was not empty. The reduced performance was due to the time limit notification, not a lack of gasoline.
We understand how this could have been confusing, especially if this system was not clearly explained beforehand, and we apologize for that. Your safety and experience are very important to us, and we will make sure to improve our pre-ride briefing so this is clearly communicated to all future guests.

We wanted to jet ski on New Year’s Eve, so we booked same day. Luckily every hour was available, so we booked an afternoon session. We decided to walk, which took us over an hour. We were arriving at the pick up point when someone from the jet ski company sent us a message asking to share our location with them. We told them we were at the meeting point and they told us they were running 20 minutes late. I understand there are delays but we weren’t informed until our start time.
We were then led to the beach where a man told us we can put our bags in the jet ski, where they could get wet, or a locker. The Viator listing stated there was a secure locker to place our belongings, so we told him we want a locker. He said we need to purchase a drink to do so, which was not advertised. We put our stuff in the locker, and then asked for locks, and he told us there were not any, but not to worry, he will watch our stuff. We told him we were leaving and he then went and found one lock. We needed two. We decided to leave and be reimbursed. This company is unprofessional and ruined our plans. However, the woman we spoke to on the phone was very understanding and immediately issued our reimbursements.

We would like to clarify several points in this review. Before the activity started, we informed the guests about a brief delay and asked if they still wished to proceed with the experience. They confirmed that they did.
It is not true that lockers are advertised in our Viator description. We do not promise lockers as part of the experience. Even so, our team offered a locker as a courtesy. The guests then demanded one locker per person, which is not a standard or advertised service.
At no point were their belongings at risk. We have never had incidents of lost items, and our staff is always present and attentive. Despite this, the guests chose not to continue, and we immediately issued a full refund as a gesture of goodwill.
We operate professionally and transparently, and we always do our best to assist our guests and provide a safe and enjoyable experience.

12/9/2025 - This excursion was horrible. We started an entire hour late, my jet ski ran completely out of gas while in the middle of the ocean, my friends jet skis were powering on and off like they were low on gas, the provider doesn’t give you your full ride time due to over booking other customers and they are very unprofessional and conniving. Do not book with them unless you want to waste your money. Viator will take their side and not refund you your full amount paid, even if you provide screenshots of the bad service. Please beware!!!

It was my first time jet skiing and it was really fun! Make sure to bring some sunglasses because the water will get in your eyes.
You stay with a instructor for about 5-10 minutes to make sure you know how to control the jet ski and hope off once they feel confident in you being by yourself

Great communication. We got there a bit early and they were really flexible, started us right away. Two adults and two kids age 14 and 11.
We stayed in the bay with a beautiful view of the city.
We had a beautiful day. There were other jet skis and boats in the area, lots of waves.

If you enjoy jet skis, then this is for you just do your best to push past the peddlers. They quick with the lessons on what to do and what not to do adequate time and a fair price but as always they'll be sure to still ask for some pesos

I had fun. It was my first time riding a jet ski. I would do this again. There was an issue with one of the locals and the host step in to mediate to aid us with coming to a conclusion.

This experience was amazing. The guide was easy to communicate with he also spoke English which was great. Ronald met us at the meeting spot and explain all the directions for the jet skies. I felt safe and it was so much fun 10/10 experience!

The tour started late at 4:40 PM, and by the time I finished at 5 PM, it felt too short for the price. The guide at the start (Ronald) was fine, but at the end, the helper collecting the jet ski kept asking for a tip (“propina, propina”). This felt awkward since I hadn’t brought any cash.
While waiting for Ronald to pick me up, I was approached by people offering drugs and other inappropriate services. I understand this is part of the local context, but it didn’t feel professional for a tour setting.
The jet skiing itself was fun, but the lack of safety protocols was striking—no one even asked if I’d ridden a jet ski before. For some, this freedom might be exciting, but others might find it concerning.
A word of caution: I accepted a drink while waiting, which ended up costing me 135,000 COP—an unexpected expense that left a sour note. Experiences like these make it clear that Colombia still has some challenges in shaking off its “Escobar-era” reputation.
This tour might appeal to adrenaline junkies and those seeking an unregulated adventure, but it’s not for the faint-hearted.

Our host Jose guided us through an exciting jet ski experience in Cartagena. The ride itself was exhilarating, offering a unique perspective of the coastline and a rush of adrenaline. However, the preparation time on the beach felt disproportionately long compared to our actual time on the water, which was disappointingly brief.
A word of caution: the beach scene can be overwhelming. Vendors are persistent, offering various services. To avoid unwanted massages or other offerings, it's best to stay on your feet and politely decline.
Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable. The thrill of riding the waves and the beautiful scenery made up for the wait and beach distractions.
Tip: If possible, inquire about longer riding times when booking your excursion.

The service was not delivered after the vendor provided the wrong directions to the starting point. We requested a refund because of wasted time and money to get to the destination on top of our existing itinerary, however, the vendor has fought tooth and nail to keep the money for a service we haven't provided.
