Our private tour didn’t feel like private at all, definitely doesn’t worse the money we paid for. We are seniors and choose private, because wanted it more relaxing. But instead we were basically running after our guide Carmella. The only good thing was, that we got to the blue grotto fast. It was interesting experience, but in a small boat I was on the top of another couple and couldn’t move or see much. The boat rider was chanting “tips, tips, tips…” We were out of the grotto in less than 5 minutes.
Then Carmella got a taxi and we went to Anacapri. On the chair lift we went to Mount Solaro. The views are beautiful. Carmella took a quick pictures of us. Then, 10 minutes running through the shops in Anacapri, even I told Carmella I am not a shopper. Other people write about villa-museum San Michele. We didn’t see it. We didn’t have lunch in some small unique restaurant. We didn’t have lunch at all! We went to Capri by taxi. Carmella navigated us through the very crowded streets and main square, took us to Nino shop to spend some money. Then we went to the garden of Augustus. The garden is very small, but views are spectacular. Our tour was so rushed, that we felt so exhausted and wanted just seat on the bench in the garden. The tour was over.

This tour is packed with activities and we were able to explore Capri in a fun and relaxing way. The Blue Grotto is amazing and well worth the effort! Our guide Annamarie is very knowledgeable and patient and easy to work with. She worked magic and got us to Blue Grotto before the line started to get long and saved us a lot of wait time. She took us to all the amazing view points and gave very good suggestions. We are very satisfied with her.

Our guide for the day, Paola, met us at the Marina Grande dock where our Positano ferry arrived in Capri for a personal tour for my partner and I. From the time we arrived to the time we departed on our return ferry, we were whisked to all the sites in Capri, Anacapri, and culminating at the Blue Grotto. It was so crowded with visitors on the island and lines everywhere for the different sites. The Blue Grotto was closed in the morning due to higher tides which we were going to do first, so instead of waiting in line for possibly two hours, she changed plans and took us on the funicular thru Capri’s square and to the beautiful gardens and paths of Giardini di Augusto, then in a convertible with awning for a drive up the steep road to Anacapri boasting views of the coastline to take the single chairlifts round trip to the top for more breathtaking views. We had lunch in a cute restaurant in Anacapri before cabbing over to the Blue Grotto. The line was long, but Paola briefly disappeared and directed us to pass so many waiting visitors to catch a row boat to enter the Blue Grotto, a wonderful viewing experience. Coming back out of the entrance, she was on a tour cruise boat to take us by water back to Marina Grande to catch an earlier ferry back instead of backtracking by windy roads to the docks.. All in all, our day trip was seamless and very educational. Thank you Paola for a memorable day which we will never forget!!!

Annamaria was great! The Blue Grotto was closed so we did a boat tour around the island instead and even that tour guide was great. So much history to be learned. The tour moved quickly but you can modify if a slower beat is needed.

We booked a private tour which I completely recommend. Let's start with our guide Paola. She was amazing! She was standing right by the ramp when we got off the ferry so we didn't have to wait or look for her which was so great because it was our first time on Capri. Paolo lives on Capri and has her whole life so she knows the island and all the boat operators. We skipped all the lines including the Blue Gratto which was awesome because they were so long and we would have been waiting half the day in just that line! From there we took a convertable taxi to AnaCapri and went on a chair lift to the top for an amazing view. Ate lunch at one of Paolos favorite local restaurants. We didnt have to wait or have a reservation. We shopped, rode the cable car down to Capri. She showed us all around the town and the gardens. When it was time to get on the ferry back to Positano she got our tickets printed out for us and made sure we knew where and what time to be at the ferry. Paolo knew soo much history of everything we did and saw on the island. It was an amazing experience. Thanks so much Paolo!!!

Just the way it was organised we did not waste anytime knew exactly where we were going if u have only a day to spend in Caori I would highly recommend this tour

Capri is gorgeous, a must see. Alberto was knowledgeable and made this experience worth the price. He was able to get us into places without waiting long, and showed us his favorite things about Capri. The chair lift to the top is a bit ominous if you’re afraid of heights, but we all did it despite our fears. The blue grotto was closed for the day due to extreme winds but Alberto put us on a boat tour around the island instead which gave us a good look at the grottos and the 3 stones. Amazing views, and you feel like you’re in a movie when you’re on Capri!

We got off the ferry in Capri and were immediately meant by a handwritten sign by our fabulous personal tour guide for the day Paola Fiore. We hit the ground running and went to the Blue Grotto! There were tons of people waiting but she made magic happen and we were in in no time! Then off to the chairlift for an amazing view of Capri! She was a wealth of knowledge and the best tour guide we've had! We spent our whole day with her on this private tour and got to see and experience all that beautiful Capri and Anacapri had to offer!! I highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Paola!!

Our tour guide LUIGI made this trip sooo fun and wonderful. He treated us like family and was super funny, informative and the man of the island it seemed haha. He got us away from the crowds and showed us all that Capri had to offer. He got us to one of our favorite restaurant experiences in Italy and showed us so much beauty. The day went too quick! Can't recommend Luigi enough...he was probably our favorite guide ever!

My husband and I had taken a private tour when we visited Capri three years ago on a cruise. We were lucky to have Anamaria as our tour guide then so when we decided to go back to Capri with two other couples, we asked for her again! Anamaria is a local and seems to know everyone. She is very knowledgeable about the island, very friendly, super accommodating and efficient, and of course speaks fluent English. Since we had been to the Blue Grotto on our previous trip, we opted to visit the ruins of the ancient villa of Tiberius. It's a healthy uphill walk but Anamaria knew all the shortcuts and pointed out interesting sights on the way. She knew all about the Roman ruins and showed us around. We were amazed at how much was still there to see. On the way back to Capri town, there was an incredible rain storm but Anamaria got us into a shed so we didn't get completely drenched. We then took a taxi to a restaurant in Anacapri where she was able to secure us a table for 6 where we could wait out the rain and eat pizza and drink wine! Fortunately the sun came back out and we took the chair lift to the top of the mountain, then strolled around Anacapri for some shopping. Then Anamaria got us another taxi and took us down to the port to catch our ferry back to Amalfi. She took excellent care of us and when we go back to Capri, we'll definitely ask for her services again.
