Very disappointing experience. The crew was friendly, but the boat we received was absolutely NOT the boat we booked and paid for.
We paid for a large boat with a flybridge, spacious communal areas and easy access to the front, exactly as shown in the listing photos. Instead, we were given a much smaller and completely different boat, with very limited communal space and difficult, even unsafe, access to the front.
To make matters worse, the captain actually had the nerve to tell us this boat was an “UPGRADE”! It was anything but an upgrade — it was clearly inferior to what we booked and expected.
The listing photos are extremely misleading. We paid a premium price for one boat and got something completely different. We felt ripped off.
Be very careful before booking and insist on written confirmation and recent photos of the exact boat you will receive.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to learn that, several weeks after your August 10 charter, you ultimately felt dissatisfied with the replacement yacht provided.
We would, however, like to clarify several important facts for future travelers reading this review.
The 48FT Flybridge yacht originally booked experienced an unexpected technical issue and could not safely operate that day. Rather than cancel your charter and leave your group without the trip you had planned, we provided a complimentary upgrade to our DIVA 60FT yacht. The replacement yacht is larger, newer and normally more expensive than the 48FT yacht originally booked. There was no additional charge to you for this upgrade.
We completely respect that yacht layouts are a matter of personal preference, and we understand that you may have preferred the flybridge layout of the original 48FT yacht. However, describing the replacement as a “much smaller boat” is factually incorrect: the yacht provided was 60FT, compared with the 48FT yacht originally reserved.
During the charter and immediately afterward, no complaint or dissatisfaction was communicated to us, and the full charter was completed. We therefore were surprised to receive this complaint several weeks later.
Nevertheless, once we became aware that you were unhappy with the substitution, we took your concerns seriously. Even though the full charter had been provided on a larger and more expensive yacht, we issued a 50% refund as a gesture of goodwill.
We always do our best to protect our guests’ vacation plans when an unexpected mechanical issue occurs. In this case, our intention was to avoid cancelling your day entirely by providing a higher-value yacht at no additional cost. We are sorry that, despite the completed charter, complimentary upgrade and subsequent 50% refund, the experience did not ultimately meet your expectations.
This experience is less than mid at best, go with another provider - trust me. Communication is key, and this was ultimately the downfall of our experience.
The red flags at the start were indicative of the trip to come. We had booked a 5 hour trip for 4 family members (private). I was immediately concerned when no one contacted me whatsoever prior to the 9am marina pickup point the next morning… I had to reach out myself the evening before to ensure the trip was still on.
It took a while to get a response, and when I finally did the agent message was stating to be patient as they are the only ones making all the arrangements (that’s fine), and proceeded to go over the extras we paid for such as jet ski and enhanced menu. For some reason, they could not perform simple math - trying to say that 4 meals @ $60/each equals $480. I had to correct them repeatedly so they understood. Apparently it wasn’t enough, because the next morning they were still trying to collect the incorrect amount.
Next, they stated that the trip started once we stepped foot onto the boat. It seems this was not communicated to the crew on board, who did not take into account the 25 minutes spent reconfirming the pricing and finally charging our card for the extras.
Upon entry, the yacht itself seem quite nice and adequate - we were excited. We soon learned that no one spoke any English whatsoever. Our guide was a Russian that was fluent in Spanish, but could barely communicated to where we could understand each other.
Again, poor communication… a skilled host would be able to tell us how long it took to reach each destination and how much time we could spend there. None of this was transmitted.
Our first stop was to meet up with the jetski sub-vendors. The was really the only successful part of the trip, of which I could and should have booked separately.
The next stop was supposedly great snorkeling at Barco. The yacht dropped anchor and had us dropped off with about 50-60 floundering strangers. It was instant confusion and almost dangerous. After literally 10 minutes, the Russian host said we had to go.
Another hour later, we ended up near the shores of Isla Mujeres. We were never told how ridiculously crowded the particular area we were going to, but we rolled with it. After anchoring, they brought out a terribly weathered and damaged lily pad to lay on. It had a giant gash in the middle and felt like sandpaper. We also expressed interested in their paddle board, but apparently was missing a paddle. Again, we were shorted on time and hung around for maybe 20 mins at most.
The food was a complete rip off, and something you could have picked up from the local grocery store — certainly not worth $240 for 4 people. Not to mentioned, the best parts of the menu were offered after we already ate what was initially offered. It’s not like we could take it with us.
Before we knew it they said it was time to return back. The ratio of transit to activity was 90/10 - awful. They could tell we were disappointed, and offered 30 extra minutes to swim in another spot… guess what, I timed it the moment we anchored — 14 mins, and they said it was time to go.
It certainly was not worth the money and felt terrible about it the rest of the day. It really doesn’t feel good to spend a lot of money without little in return.

Before every charter, we send all of our guests a detailed Welcome Message explaining how the tour works, including the itinerary, optional services, timing, and other important information, so our guests know exactly what to expect before arriving at the marina.
Regarding the catering, our Welcome Message also explains that guests are always welcome to bring their own food and drinks if they prefer. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase our catering.
We would also like to clarify the payment for the catering. As agreed before your tour, the catering price was USD 60 per person for 4 guests, for a total of USD 240. This is exactly the amount that was charged—not a dollar more. We honored the price that had been agreed upon prior to your charter.
After speaking with our crew following your tour, they also mentioned that you complimented the ceviche and shared that you enjoyed the food, which they were very happy to hear.
We would also like to clarify one important point regarding your itinerary. You booked a 5-hour yacht charter together with a 1-hour jet ski rental. As explained in our Welcome Message, the jet ski activity takes place during the yacht charter, meaning that one hour is part of the total charter time. Therefore, the yacht itinerary itself is approximately four hours.
The waters around Isla Mujeres offer many beautiful locations to visit, and with approximately four hours available after including the jet ski activity, it is simply not possible to spend a long time at every stop. For guests who would like a more relaxed pace with longer swimming, snorkeling, and beach stops, we usually recommend booking a 6-hour or 8-hour charter, allowing plenty of time to fully enjoy each destination.
Finally, we would like to mention that your yacht departed at approximately 9:25 AM and returned at around 2:50 PM, meaning your charter lasted approximately 25 minutes longer than scheduled. We were happy to provide this additional time at no extra charge as a gesture of goodwill because our goal is always for our guests to have the best experience possible.
We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our service. While we are sorry that your expectations were different from your experience, we sincerely thank you for choosing us and wish you and your family all the best.

The experience was great and we had a good time. However, we have not recieved the drone footage we paid for however.

Had an amazing time on the Diva yacht. Captain Anselmo, Yahir and especially Victoria made our day extra fun. Snorkeling was amazing and finishing up a isla mujeres was the best part. My family and I highly recommend this charter.

Would do this again! Very easy process from booking to communication on where to meet. The guides/crew were very friendly, helpful and on it for all your needs. The yacht was very clean and nice. We were able to hook up our own music, lay out where ever we wanted on the boat. They had bathrooms as well as a cooler for you to bring your drinks. They put in our order for food in which we went to Bartalome marina to pick up, they took us to north beach by the island to eat and swimm. Note this private yacht does not provide booze for you you must bring it. You must also bring your towels which your hotel will allow you to take. We did the 4 hr tour which was enough for our needs I would recommend the 6 hr tour if you wanted to see more. They will help with transportation but I took a private shuttle service to and from the meeting spot! Tipping this crew should be done they work hard to make you happy, so take cash to do this for them!
An excellent way to be out on the ocean and have fun with your group. We got to pick some activities and timed our day so we would be on the water at sunset. The crew was friendly and helpful and our whole family (with kids from 8-24 years old) said it was the best part of our trip.
The boat we got looked nothing like all the boats on the website. The day before they told me ‘good news we got a newer boat’ so that means the original boat would have been way way older. Regardless it was a very old boat. They should have been transparent to show pictures of what all the boats actually looked like. Besides the boat being old, the staff was very very good and attentive. However I would never rent from them again unless I see pictures of the actual boat.
My family had the best time. You can always tell by how loud they talked about and and for how long they talked about it. Anything we asked that may not have been on the schedule, there was an immediate yes without hesitation. By far the best thing we’ve done in Cancún!
