Would highly recommend this nighttime tour. Not only is it cooler but the city really comes alive at night! Mina was a wonderful tour guide taking his through the old city and to a very good restaurant where we ate far too much! We can highly recommend this tour with Mina.

What we expected to be just a walking food tour turned into an unforgettable night filled with incredible food, sightseeing, cultural insight, and nonstop fun and laughter. This tour should be experienced at night because that is when Cairo comes alive. You are brought to Khan El Khalili which is Cairo's version of a bazaar. Lots of touristy shops and fun to walk through. Our guide Peter was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the market and how it came about. He was a lot of fun to talk to and took us to try local Egyptian food. My favorite was the koshary, an Egyption comfort food. I would definitely recommend this tour. Great value for6 the money as it includes food as well.

This was such a fun way to end our trip to Cairo! Seeing the city at night and getting a truly authentic experience of the food and culture was so special. Manar was so fun, and made us feel like we were her long lost friends. We tasted SO much incredible food, and the market at night was an experience I’ll never forget. Our walking tour through Old Cairo was so interesting and the architecture was beautiful. Then trying all the local street food was terrific. Our family loves getting introduced to a new place through a food tour! The tours are even better when you get a great guide like Peter who is both personable and knowledgeable! We were picked up on time in an air conditioned vehicle. The driver expertly navigated the city and we had pleasant surprises like the boat ride and the tour of the Islamic area of Cairo and Khan el Khalli market. After a little sight seeing, we got to experience both AMAZING food and the energy of the city!! Plus, it was wonderful to see the pride Peter had in his city; it made us fall in love with it as well!!

This tour is an excellent way to take in the history and culture of Cairo while also enjoying traditional Egyptian food as a local would. Ayoub, our guide, shared a wealth of historical and cultural insights, and he was very easy to communicate with (as native English speakers). Simply the best way to get to know different areas of the city while also enjoying really delicious food along the way! Ayoub was the perfect guide - deeply knowledgeable about Egypt (past and present) and able to make the city come alive! Having a great driver also allows you to navigate different parts of the city comfortably. Trying koshary for the first time, the amazing pistachio ice cream and crossing over the Nile at night were highlights. Can’t recommend this tour enough! Book it - you won’t regret it!

I took a night tour solo with Ayoub, my wonderful guide for the evening. He showed me around bustling Old Cairo which was fascinating and so colorful in the evening, as well as the also vibrant downtown area. We even got to walk through Tahrir Square and over to the main bridge there, which was beautiful at night. All along the way tasting so much delicious food that I couldn't have possibly taken another bite!
