I had an amazing experience on the Black and White Desert tour in Egypt with Tamar Safari, and I can’t recommend them enough! Our guide, Tamer, was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. He answered all my questions promptly and made the entire booking process smooth and stress-free. During the trip, he was extremely accommodating and attentive, always making sure I was comfortable and enjoying the experience. What really stood out was that he even reached out afterward to ensure I arrived back in Cairo safe and sound — such a thoughtful and professional touch. The driver was punctual and reliable, which made the long journey much more comfortable. Do keep in mind that visiting the Black Desert, White Desert, and Crystal Mountain requires at least 8-hour stop-and-drive trip to and from Cairo/Giza, so it’s a long day — but absolutely worth it. The landscapes are incredibly scenic and unlike anything I’ve seen before. The contrast between the black volcanic hills, the surreal white rock formations, and the sparkling crystal formations is simply breathtaking. Another highlight was the local meal provided — the portions were very generous, and the food was delicious and authentic. There is complimentary pick-up and drop-off within certain areas of Cairo:Giza, which is very convenient. Just note that locations outside those areas may incur an additional cost. Overall, this tour was well-organized, scenic, and memorable. If you’re considering exploring Egypt’s desert landscapes, this is definitely a great choice!
