We were escorted around Cairo and driven to Alexandria under the care of Muhammed ( Mizo) who made us feel as though we were being taken around by an old friend. We saw the Great Pyramid, of course, but also sites at Saqqara that I missed on my visit 26 years earlier. The tour of Alexandria was wonderful - it made us want to go back for more. The best part was being taken by Mizo to his favorite restaurant in Cairo for lunch. Too bad we had only 3 days with him!
