We started at 8am and was picked up at the hotel. The driver picked us up and drove us to outside the entrance of the pyramids, where the guide Ibrahim joined us. The guide explained the history of the pyramids and Sphinx to us quite well and helped us took some nice photos. Downsides: the guide brought us to a perfume and papyrus museum / shop, and these items are outside the itinerary listed. That took me by surprised a bit (of course I read about these in the comments of this tour, but only remember these comments when I was brought to the place). Though I highlight there were no hard selling in either of the places. But it just feels like a bit of waste of time on my end. I suggest if these could be listed on the itinerary here, or communicated earlier to manage expectations that would be better. For information, the guide will bring you to the perfume shop right after visiting the Sphinx. You will exit the Sphinx and the guide will start walking through a few streets, and then arriving at shop.

The guide was apparently not an official one (stuck to my partner at the gate to enter illegally while official guides are entering for free), did not behave properly (tried to scam us several times) and his knowledge was really poor. He tried to change the program to shorten it. The driver was however nice and friendly. We contacted the company to let them know but they denied everything. The customer service from Viator was however really efficient.

The guide used the same gate which your partner used it .. becouse the guide wasn't interested to keep you waiting for him until he go to the gate which was designated for the guide for free....(and This does not mean that he not an official as you said) Moreover you visited two other sites the guide get in to this sites for free too. About what you said that the guide tried to scam you several times I wish your statement had been more precise and clear, instead of accusing the guide of fraud without any proof to support your claim. About what you said about the knowledge level of the tour guide I would like to tell you that this guide holding the official license from the ministry of tourism since ten years ago, And you didn't talk exactly about what make you decided that or which scale you used to decide that About what you said that the guide tried to change the program to shorten it, Most of the tourist attractions in Egypt close about 4:30 pm the guide is responsible to make a balance in between the sites which you will visit and the time which you will spend in each site to be able to visit all the site in the program before the close time .(and that doesn't mean that he want shorte the tour) The company responded to your contact through Viator customer service and we denied your misinterpretation of what happened The reply also included a full explanation of what happened during your tour and these why we rejected your refund request which you send through Viator customer service before. Our guide Emad was excellent, he gave us thorough explanation of each locations and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I left my hat in a restaurant and he arranged for it to be delivered to the car on our way back! We had a blast and totally would recommend.

It was a great tour up to Dahshur, but before going to the Pyramids of Giza, we stopped at a shop selling papyrus. It would have been nice if I could just look around the store, but I was forced to watch the process of making papyrus, and of course I had to give a tip. But Saqqara and Dahshur are really worth a visit.

First let me say that bothbthe driver and the guide were very nice and professional. The thing is, I booked this trip with the purpose of going to Saqqara first and Giza after (please note my hotel is right in front of Giza I would have gotten there quicker than with a guide) but for some reason the guide didn't know and took me to the Giza pyramids first. And don't try to argue with me I did my research I saw what time rhe light and the people were better... I started the trip disappointed.... Also I felt like we were always rushing.. I was back to my hotel before 7hrs were complete and we didn't even went to Dashur because he suggested that Memphis was better. I don't know if it is or not. I don't know I had high expectations for Giza and the experience was a bit tainted by the way things were organised.

First of all we would like thanks you for choosing us to be with you for these tour, Second most of the guests they prefer to start with Giza pyramids for many reasons such as the weather will be better, it's the most famous so they will be intereste to have more time to spend there also to get inside the pyramids if they are interest like what you did exactly but it was much better if you told the guide that you are interest much about having a great clear photos and becouse you lives in Saudi Arabia so you don't care about the hot weather which most of the tourists don't like and if you told him that before you get inside the area he was able to change the beginning and start with Sakkara as you want but you didn't tell him that until you get inside the area and if you get out and you came back to get inside the area again they will charging you again becouse the ticket for one visit only. You was having the time to get inside the great pyramid for the king khufu and walk around and the pyramid of khafrea and you been to the panoramic location to see all the pyramids together then you been to the sphinx area, I know that you may want to spent more time but the guide he was interested to have enough time to do the other sites About that you visit Memphis instead of dahshur pyramids, he showed you the pyramids of dahshur from Sakkara and he talk to you about and he thought that you may not be interested much about it so he suggested to visit Memphis instead of dahshur and he talk to you about that and you agreed and if you refused for sure he will takes you to dahshur direct. And when you told the guide that you are hungry he stopped to one of the super market to get something to eat so he was responding to your request always if you ask him about what you exactly you want.... He also engaged our 7 year old with questions that made her enjoy the experience. The driver was professional and the van was comfortable. For us Dahshur was the highlight of the trip. We went inside both pyramids. The guide and driver were pleasant and answered all our questions about modern day Cairo. We stopped for a quick falafel and to buy fresh dates. All in all good experience.

Our guide had a cataract! This made him so much more mysterious! He was quite knowledgable! I was sick (HEAT) and he made every effort to keep me from puking everywhere. Good god it's hot in Egypt. Makes me wonder why they even bothered with the pyramids. Couldn't they have adopted an attitude of shade and maybe finding a way to make ice or some sort of refrigeration? Ten out of ten we would book with this company again.

Voy a empezar por valorar el viaje en general y ha sido ¡ESPECATCULAR! Desde la organización del viaje que han estado muy atentos desde el primero momento, poniéndose en contacto con nosotros para la recogida. También el conductor Sherif, que ha estado muy atento en todo momento para que tengamos el coche fresquito, puntual y esperándonos en cada parada. Y sobretodo el guía, Hesham, que nos ha dado un lección de historia Egipcia increíble!!! Hemos aprendido un montón con él y siempre ha estado dispuesto a resolver todas nuestras dudas. Nos ha dado tiempo en cada momento para que exploráramos por nuestra cuenta, así como para hacer algunas fotos. Y hablando de fotos, Hesham es un gran fotógrafo, por lo que te va a realizar un repertorio de fotos increíbles. Sin duda recomendaría esta actividad a cualquier persona que viaje a Egipto - El Cairo ya que saldrá de ahí sabiendo mucho más de lo que cree.

Fueron muy puntuales y nos recogieron en el punto y a la hora indicados. El guía era simpático y amable. Hicimos un recorrido algo diferente al descrito: empezamos por las pirámides de Guiza, luego fuimos a la de Sakkara y acabamos visitando la ciudad de Memphis (en vez de ir a Dahsur). Cuando preguntamos por las pirámides de Dahsur el guía nos dijo que no estaba incluido. En Guiza estuvimos menos tiempo del que hubiéramos querido. Las explicaciones del guía estuvieron bien. Acabamos antes de lo esperado.
